  1. Dilemma

If I didn't have a Vin and a build week I'd probably be in a new 4Runner already so if you're not seeing a light at the end of the tunnel why not get something for right now. Especially if it's something that holds it's value as well as Jeeps seem to.
  2. For those who have taken delivery. Finance rate? Terms?

At first glance I thought this said "do you have a groupon" 🤣🤣🤣
  3. Arrival of First Edition 4-Door and Wildtrak 2-Door Mannequin @ Granger

This is what I was hoping for when I ordered the 2.7L.
  4. Death to the Bronco Sport

Best case is Ford rolls a couple trims and features into the escape where I should have been from the beginning and quietly retires the sport line. An escape with a Bronco trim, kinda like a "king ranch", and a maybe a bronco equipment package would to me the best case. But overall I doubt...
  5. Granger Ford - Passing of Albert Schmitz

Deepest condolences to the Schmitz and Granger families. My one conversation with Albert truly put me at ease with ordering a vehicle from a distant dealership. Was hoping to shake his hand when picking up my Bronco. RIP Albert.
  6. My Peterson museum photos.

Wow that's is a wildly different building than when I saw the Chip Foose collection there in 2006. 😮
  7. 6/25 Email & FAQ: Modular Hardtops Delayed Until 2023MY | Price Protection Extension | Free Hardtop Prep Kit

I ordered a Badlands with MIC top and my email had the part about pass points. 🤷‍♂️ I also have a July build date that may or may not change. No communication about that yet. I figured I'd wait until more dust settles before worrying about the points. now if they'd only stop kicking up...
  8. Silly question... steel tops?

With the existing GVWR constraints I imagine steel would be way too heavy, especially up top. Aluminum might be possible but still pretty heavy. 🤷‍♂️
  9. How important is it to you that this is a Ford product?

I was hoping the 4runner would be updated for 21 or 22 and i could choose between what I liked better. With no update on the 4Runner the Bronco offers more features for similar money.
  10. What song / music will you be playing in first drive of your Bronco?

Lowrider by War just to be ironic? (I'd be surprised if nobody else has said this in 58 pages)
  11. Got to see it for real. Pictures DO NOT do it justice.

Every other picture of Cactus Gray has me questioning my choice. Some look great other look pastel. I'm really hoping I don't end up hating the color in 6 months.
  12. Upcoming Bronco Review & Burger Talk

I always found In-n-Out burgers way too descriptive.... And they taste just like every other nasty fast food burger.
  13. What’s your new Bronco break in strategy?

I'm going to drive mine 200 miles home from the dealership, on the highway, probably going anywhere between 65 and 85 depending on traffic. I'll probably change the oil somewhere between 500 and 1000 miles then use roughly the oil change schedule or every ≈5000 miles which ever is easier to...
  14. Bronco Off-Roadeo Registration Now Open, Begins June 28 in Texas

I haven't seen anything about the other locations, specifically Moab. Does anybody know when registration opens for Moab and other locations?
  15. Age and Reason for 2door and 4door buyers

I remember Jeeps back in the day, 90's and early 00's, a couple friends even had them. I always thought they were stumpy looking even back then. Plus doing the car yoga to get in the back was always annoying. I don't know if it's generational or not but that's my thoughts.
  16. Age and Reason for 2door and 4door buyers

40 and 4 door. No wife or kids but cargo space and not wanting to make passengers do yoga to get in the back seat are my reasons for the 4 door. Plus I kinda think the 2 doors look a little stumpy.
  17. Decorating Journal for Ripley, my Cactus 2dr BB

Best guess is he only knows how to weld poorly, or only knows how to teach poorly. The result is the same. 😂 (This is not me claiming I know how to do either well.)
  18. Bronco "In Production": Day 4 (Ahead of Schedule)

I'm not quite at that point but I can see getting there. Luckily most of the people I talk to about the Bronco are car people and understand differences in models. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: I first read this as Daytona, then I realized it was Dayton and it was even funnier.
  19. MotorTrend talks about Bronco/Bronco Sport Naming Confusion

The confusion will last until the BS becomes nothing more than a trim level available for the Escape like it should be. Even Jeep wasn't dumb enough to name a completely different vehicle after the wrangler.
  20. Tow Package Poll

I didn't remove it and got a VIN on 5/27 with a July 19th build date.
