Reservations/orders that are canceled before a vin is assigned are essentially non-existent. Orders have a VIN assigned but haven't started building, I assume can be canceled and removed from the queue. Allowing the allocation to be reassigned to a different order Orders that are delivered to...
I'm neither a priority nor an FE and I got the "previewing" email and submitted all the stuff my dealer requested, alas no VIN or build date yet. I was told either today or next Thursday. 🤷‍♂️ the wait continues.
I've been debating between the 4runner and the Bronco. If Toyota added front locker to go with the rear, a LUX package equivalent, sway bar disconnect, and added some power and MPG It would be a lot harder choice in favor of the 4Runner.
Possibly, I have faith the aftermarket will provide, Icon in particular seems to have some pretty comprehensive packages for other applications. Plus the likely hood of me deciding I NEED to go bigger is relatively low so 🤷‍♂️. Lol
Good plan, I'm waiting to see what aftermarket offers, and if I even need it. A King or Icon suspension package could end up better overall with more travel.
Sounds like you are well positioned to compete in that higher weight class.
Is Granger on of these 100 dealers, or are you considering something similar?

Adaptive cruise control was mostly why added it, heated steering wheel and a few other things were just icing. There is too much ambient noise for fancy speakers to make that much difference in most vehicles.
4 Door
Cactus Gray (still might change it)
Lux (Wanted Adaptive cruise for commuting)
2.7L (More power!)
MIC top
Tow
no-SAS (I figure if I really need bigger tires I'll get an aftermarket lift)
edit: I forgot to add the Optional wheels, leather seats, and Sound deadening
I choose the automatic and 2.7L because I drive 50 miles one way to work, which is also why I wanted the adaptive cruise. The 2.3L might be enough but I like a little extra for passing and stuff.
I'm sure this isn't going to help you decide, but I passed on SAS because IF I need to go bigger than 33's, I'll get an aftermarket suspension with lift and probably end up with better suspension for my application whatever that ends up being. I agree with you on the Wildtrack interior. I...

Likely quietly scrapped when a mounted accessory didn't stay mounted during crash testing. I'd bet a dollar ($1) this won't be available from Ford but will be aftermarket. Either way will have "off-road use only" stickers all over it.
Possibly but why should I do that, and likely have it look ugly for other reasons, when the Badlands optioned the way I want is basically only missing the SAS package, and I can add that with aftermarket suspension, probably better than factory anyway, and tires if I choose to.
