All of those pre-drilled holes on the mounting surface (SSV pods) is unnecessary. Anyone installing drivers without a solid gasket or decoupling tape...
If anyone wants a set of Focal Flax EVO 3-way components with the MTI dash plates, I have a set available in the original box, plus the dash plates for $750. I upgraded to Focal Utopia.
You might get 110W at volume level 25, but at moderate listening volume, the OEM amplifier is probably delivering somewhere in the realm of 50-60W.
The OEM subwoofer will definitely produce more output than the CompRT in that range.
The OEM amplifier has more than enough power to move the lighter cone and suspension on the OEM subwoofer compared to the much heavier cone and suspension on the Kicker CompRT subwoofer.
The CompRT needs 150W of clean power from an aftermarket amplifier to get any appreciable output from it...
Thanks for the response.
Assuming the PCM KAM was reset, what are my options?
The tune is still loaded, but again, the transmission schedule seems to be compromised.
The only changes I ever made with Forscan was disabling the factory EQ, and eliminating the double honk.
I recently took my Bronco in for service to have an exhaust pressure sensor replaced. Following service, the double honk came back, and my transmission feels twitchy as if the Procal shift...
Since refunds are not happening, who's going to be the first one to show up at ADV with a truck to collect a set of front fenders, rear quarter panels, and a carbon fiber ram air hood? Really, how could John say no?
That's only $5,350, so maybe grab a Xerox machine on the way out to square up...
I'm in Cali, so I know that John at ADV in Costa Mesa is literally a 15-minute drive to George at APG in Garden Grove.
ADV alleges that they were strung along, duped, etc., paid APG millions, but at what point do you hop in the car, take a 15-minute drive to Garden Grove to check on how...
There's a few vendors out there that sell side steps that are similar to the hoops steps that will clamp onto your 24 rock rails. IMO, none look as good at the OEM Hoop Steps, though.
So, John turned over the money, the manufacturing, and production to George at APG without filing a patent?
George tweaked the design, be it aesthetic, structural, or final-assembly, filed a patent, barring John from attempting to manufacture the top?
The letter reads as if John knew he was...
Your 23 Black Diamond did not have rock rails. It was equipped with what I would describe as an accessory rail to cover the pinch welds, and support the hoop steps. The rail itself is shaped differently than the rock rails, and cannot support the weight of the vehicle like rock rails.
In...
Portals are just one component of a suspension system. APG designs and manufactures a complete, purpose-built, suspension system.
Apples and Oranges. Both are impressive, but very far from equal.
