With the amount of airspace needed for a single 4412 (1.25), you'd be better off with a pair of 2412's (1.30). Personally, I run a pair of GB12-D4's wired in parallel for 1ohm, and 3-way Utopia's.

In reference to a tweeter, off-axis generally means that the tweeter is mounted on the a-pillar, and pointed directly at the opposing tweeter. Mounted on-axis, the tweeters would be aimed at the driver. What are you powering the drivers with, and are the drivers active or passive?
