I was speculating in response to the opposite predicament, where a dealer gets allotted more if conversions exceed the initial allotment. I'm not sure how what you said applies to this, or whether you were just commenting on the case where allotment decreases - can you clarify?
The allocating additional 21MY broncos based on what reservations hold up definitely doesn't jive with what I heard.
Maybe they meant to say that, if there was miracle and 2/3 cancelled, you'd have a shot? That's about as much as I was told... I'm not holding my breath, though. I'm #35 and my...
I got a call from my dealer (yay) and it looks like I'm outside of MY21 allocation window (8/17 reserve date) by... a LOT (boo). Have fun with your '21 models, I'll just jealously glower when you drive by.
The decision to go doorless in obviously cold weather amused me. Maybe it's early morning or something, but still it looks odd in the instant in time shown.
Edit: the more I think about this, the more I think this was a silly question. The fact that there is no "O" on mid makes me think it's not possible, despite no clarifying note (which is really just flavor text compared to the cells anyway).

Interesting question. My Subi OB doesn't have a center diff and instead just a wet multiplate clutch set (or so Engineering Explains tells me). Maybe it's because of that, but I don't seem to get any bind during tight cornering. I wonder if the Adv. transfer case relies solely on a clutch pack...
Well put. I'm a PNW'er and this is my exact use case. When doing a long haul to go ski it comes in really handy to have a system akin to AWD. Back when I had a rig with 4H (FJ cruiser... I miss it) I was constantly wondering when to engage it on those trips, as it was not rated for high speeds...
^^same config as above! I'm for sure going to go advanced 4x4, though. I do enough mixed snow/pavement driving during the winter to justify it to myself.
Unless manual/mid becomes a thing (outside of BL) I'll probably go 2.7/auto. If I gotta go auto, might as well go big... I'm too fancy pants after my last car not to go for heated seats during the winter, so I gotta have mid. Reeeealy want AOD for mixed pavement/snow driving, so seems like I'm...
CO BD with squach and aftermarket bumper... nice. Given it's 1:8, I would have expected a price of closer to $47k/8 ~ 6k. At a mere $74 you got a steal. Congrats on the new rig!
Seriously though, it'd be fun to pick one of these up :) is it fun to ride around, the app work good?
If I had to guess, some of the painful points for the 1st year could be related to the hard top and maybe removable doors... noise beyond your average buyers' expectations, water ingress, fitment. These are all things that have been done before, though, so I have to think Ford has taken those...
I didn't like gray or 4dr or outer banks until exactly right now. Must have been the alt-j playing :p seriously though, nice looking rig when it's got sas!
...reduced sound exhaust system... pfft! Surprising how significant of an adder power steering was - at least compare to the auto trans option.
Gotta imagine that a few of these 'options' are now standard and are reflected in the modern base price.
Kinda funny that you can have one of the two...
I'd probably be into that trim level if it weren't for the color matched fenders (w/o sas). It's a bit too Ford flex-like for me. I'm sure it'd be able to set up a swap w/someone on here, bit it's just extra hassle ?‍♀️
Makes sense that it's an efficiency req I guess. There's probably some EPA standard that requires Ford to provide the tools to a user to show them how to meet the mileage claim. Probably in normal driving conditions folks would meet that naturally - bet it's one of those reqs where they have to...
So, I'm really stressing about mid/manual, now that I'm considering manual again. I haven't been able to tell from the various threads on here,or I just plain suck at searching... well I know I do... but anyway, is it known for sure than man/mid is not an option for the 1st year? I 100% don't...
