The only offroad tech I'm interested in is the automatic on-demand 4x4. I have about 3mo/year in snow hell, and don't like flipping back and forth from 4H to 2 when hitting somewhat dry pavement. Having a clutch pack in the T-case (I assume) will make my winter driving a little more bearable.
Any WA folks touch base with Jess Ford since the whole no X-plan thing happened? I'm curious to see if they offer any other incentives that we might be able to expect, (like no ADM?). Thanks!
Well, I guess this is just about as 'mid October' as you can get.
Fingers crossed that that Burger King guy from Michigan's bird friend is a good source ? glad I'm in PST today ?
All's I know is when I click the B&P link on the Black Diamond RN it goes to a blank page. Hopefully the finalized B&P looks better...
All the other ones just flip you back to the main vehicle selector page.
I'm just happy that I'm transitioning away from my even more basic Outback... haha. I skipped randomly to 3 or 4 spots with the video on mute, but I get the gist. No shame on trailers or one's living situation from me, and I don't want to be judged on my car choice neither :poop:
To me, it came down to "do I want the engine they use in a bigger truck, or one they used in a focus" (ignoring the ranger of course... haha). I also like that the 2.7 has port and gdi, and for some reason the hydraulic roller rockers get me where it counts.
I'm going to do whatever trim allows me Mid and, more importantly, orange. I'd prefer to stick with Big Bend. Though, from what I understand thus far, I will have to go to at least BD if I absolutely must have my beloved orange coloring.
I'm just going on pre-renders, but signs point to 'yes': https://www.ford.com/suvs/bronco/2021/gallery/#2021-bronco-gallery-image-0098f1010ffd9705b7679e42b305b992-ai
The pictured rig does not have the modular bumper on it, correct? It at least doesn't look like the modular that I'm familiar with... although it does have those big D-rings which differentiates it from some of the standard bumpers (w/ fog lights) that I've seen in other pics.
I hear your pain OP. I'm bouncing around a lot, too. A lot of the upper trims I want, but the "performance" I'd get out of them would be exactly the same as I would likely never use the higher-end model additional features (or at least extract meaningful benefit). I mean, I want Badlands, but...
Gosh, I'm kind of set on BB, but Cyber Orange keeps calling my name. Hopefully that ends up being an option for that trim level. Otherwise, Ford might be able to up-sell me just because of paint...
Probably I'll just keep riding my '18 outback if the bronco dream falls through. I've been wanting the Ford in part because I really miss my FJ... plus the bronco can go topless and has a teeeerbo. Maybe I'd go 4runner or pick up a used FJ, but nothing else is really calling my name and...
