  1. Car wash etiquette please

This only applies to 1966 to 77 early Broncos, as shown in the picture. The ones with the steel removable top! LOL!
  2. Car wash etiquette please

Before Co-vid , there was .... THE FLU ! They had TP shortages and mass panic buying back then as well. Then they invented immunization shots. ( the above was posted as total and complete sarcasm. Please do not use these statements as "facts" in a later argument. HoosierDaddy assumes no...
  3. Car wash etiquette please

Wait until this guy ^^^^ tries a heated water bidet!!! POWER WASH THE MUD BUTTON !!!
  4. Car wash etiquette please

I've always imagined that would be the case. The horror ....
  5. Upgrading Big Bend Wheels

3 peak is a nearly worthless standard. Buy tires you know will perform well. Buy them from a local merchant in case of issues. You can easily jump up to a 285 wide tire, and probably wider with ZERO issues unless you intend to aggressively stuff them into the wheel wells. 285/70-17 (32.8")...
  6. Guess how much to fix

I'm in at $3750. Absolute wild ass guess....
  7. Mickey Thompson Canyon 0 offset + Kenda Klever AT tires 315/70R17 installed! - 2025 Desert Sand OBX

Man, I love the look of those wheels, but I dislike poke. Same goes for the MT Classic wheels. Apparently that look is extremely difficult to pull off with these high + offset wheels ... I get it , no dish and it will look funny.
  8. Mickey Thompson Canyon 0 offset + Kenda Klever AT tires 315/70R17 installed! - 2025 Desert Sand OBX

It could be done using just the lug nuts, but you had better know how to do it .... plus you will be wrestling a 100lb wheel/tire. No fun. With the rings in place, the wheels are now extremely close to centered where they need to be and the nuts do the last tiny amount of centering and clamping.
  9. April 2026 - what prices are people seeing for leftover 2025s?

I just did a Cars.com search 250 miles from me . (southern tip of Lake Michigan ... Chicago-land area) Sorted by lowest price first, I see 1 at $75 k and a bunch around $80k. Judging by the ones that show MSRP on the quick listing, I see a few marked down $10k and a whole boat load of them...
  10. Anyone have a cool altimeter mounted in their Bronco?

This is the piece .... I .... MUST .... HAVE !!!! LOL! May not be the ideal thing in a 6G, but that shit is certainly going in the EB .... someday. As for accuracy, ehhh , probably only matters in OV-10 Broncos more so than ours.
  11. Wrapped MIC Hard Top White + various other weekend additions

Looks great! I've eyeballed those stripes before as well. Always a debate regarding how bright of silver or grey over the AMB.
  12. Wrapped MIC Hard Top White + various other weekend additions

Lol, same ad here as well.
  13. ELI5 - Lift & Tire upgrade on Non-SAS '25 OBX Lux

For anybody that wanders across this thread, I'll add that one of the issues with the Bronco is that it likes to drag it's belly. So, if you are looking at deep ruts, rock gardens etc etc, slapping on 33's and calling it a day may not be the best way to go. 35's might be the starting point for...
  14. Are you a top tier gasoline user?

Modern vehicle that will use that fuel in a week or two ..... ethanol is not a problem. Old vehicle not set up for ethanol ... must use ethanol free no matter how quickly it runs through that load. Ethanol will DESTROY old rubber, very quickly. Any vehicle or power tool, yard equipment whose...
  15. Are you a top tier gasoline user?

I went on a Top Tier kick for awhile, but then reminded myself that I have had several 200k +/- mile vehicles over the years and had used the similar, "what's convenient" approach. I do avoid the nasty little , dumpy filling stations though. That being said, Meijer Super Stores are Top Tier...
  16. Are you a top tier gasoline user?

Reflector fluid. I had a work van that had a small leak somewhere in the roof. The water would pool in the roof structure and when I went to drive it, at the first stop you could hear it coming through whatever channels and eventually found an outlet where the cable for the rear view mirror...
  17. OBX on 17” 8.5 +55 offset wheels with 285/75/17?

I want to say that the 285/75-17 will fit WITH the crash bars intact. Just from reading posts here, and I seem to recall a Bronco that was Grand Prize Give-a-way that had been built that way. Factory wheels with 285/75's , no lift, and it worked well, according to the builders.
  18. Starting over

^^^^^ This dude holds his grudges long term!!! I can't throw too much shade on that because the only thing I COULD NOT get on my 2021 Bronco that I would do in a do-over, was Sasquatch with 7MT .... and that still burns my toast with Ford every time I am reminded about it. So yeah, 2021...
  19. Tire Size Question

    You had a typo ... 285/7?-17 Either way, under 35" , you'll have no issues. 285/70 -17 ..... 32.8" .... no issues. 285/75-17 ...... 33.8" .... no issues, even with the factory Black Diamond wheels. 255/85-17 , 34.6" x 9.8 ,Tall and skinny, Mickey Thompson tires , I'll bet they'll be...
