Don't take it personal or blame the dealer.
Dealerships are an entirely separate entity and the comms between Ford corporate and the dealers are damn near non-existent.
There are several points in the process where nobody except MAYBE Ford corporate knows where the vehicle is.
Even then, here at...
I'd bet it's a leftover as you suggest.
Assembly worker has zero time to search for an errantly dropped cap.
Not hurting nothing .... until it catches fire.
Lol.
Even they have slipped in the consensus over at BITOG.
With all the consolidating and resulting cost cutting, every 6 to 12months it seems a different company is producing "the best" filters.
Wix is still "OK" , but some of the "better" filters .... CURRENTLY .... are the top of the line house...
285's and the 35's are rated for the factory 7.5" wheel. No problem here.
The 315's are rated for an 8" wheel at a minimum, but should be just fine on a 7.5". Most tire shops will mount this, a couple may not.
285/75-17 = 34.1 x 11.6 (WildPeak AT4 specs)
35 x 11.5 -17 = 35 x 11.9 (WildPeak...
So you are looking for a fair amount of poke?
.... and both of those widths are available on the Badlands model, look around any Ford dealer lot.
The height difference between the two tires will be about 3/4 inch, thus the lift effect will only be about 3/8" more for the 315's.
I really like...
Impress me by making something for the 2 door crowd.
Although I'm curious how different the front floor mats are between the two.
Why don't ya send me a set and I'll see how they fit.
😎 Lol.
Gloss black for the nod to the Base models like mine.
Winning.
LOL!
But yeah, jokes aside, MY preference would be the black, but you know the drill ... what do YOU prefer?
I haven't done overlays, would they come off easily without ruining the original if you changed your mind later? Just...
Check out the "similar threads" section at the bottom of this page.
These Broncos will all accept 35's without any major issues, even the absolute base suspension Broncos will not have any issues, let alone a Badlands that has a bit of lift from the factory ... approx. 3/4" if I recall...
That looks freaking killer!!!!
You got your ins and outs backwards.
@Beach_Bum nailed it with his reply.
The image is from https://tiresize.com/ offset calculator.
Fantastic website if you want to learn about/visualize wheel specs, etc.
Now this is helpful, something to check out only because of the number of mismatched panels I see out in the general population.
I wonder if they exempt the paint fade that causes this.
Yeah, looks great the day you pick it up, five years later, the repair doesn't match.
If you turn a "Their fault" accident into your insurance, even though it was their fault, it is a damn near certainty that they will raise your rates because of the "activity" on your account.
I never would have thought I'd say this, but insurance companies made me into this monster ... if...
Do you ever tow? I've towed 3000lb with the 2.3L auto and manual.
The automatic is magic. The 2.3/manual, gets it done, but with more effort and far less grace.
The 10spd made that 4cyl pull better than the GM 5.3L that we have towed that boat with for years.
I can't imagine how much better the...
Man, those interior parts though ... love 'em.
I know what a Filson duffle costs, I can't imagine what the interior components would cost.
I'll bet they're beautiful though.
The 35 x11.5-17 were C rated. I'd say they rode fine, and I'm rather picky about tire performance.
Really , my only beef with them was the rubber compound.
I'm dead certain I was sold a bad batch and Toyo did fuck all nothing to help out. Never returned a single response.
This is why I strongly...
