I've always loved the Bell crank contraption for the throttle!
I hated ditching it for the Exploder EFI I installed.
This was taken the day one of the threaded plugs in the cooling jackets backed out and dumped my coolant so fast I never smelled a drop of it ... until the motor got THAT hot you...
I'll argue that 1/2 tons routinely run SL tires and the ones that run LT are for carrying far more weight than a Bronco could ever consider, even if it wanted to. There just isn't the room for a load of dirt or bricks or plywood, etc etc etc.
I'll also argue the weights you mention could easily...
Back to OP's original question, and some info about your set up and options as well.
I ran Toyo 35 x 11.5-17 on my Base 2dr manual (4.46 & 2.3L).
They looked awesome and fit well with Method wheels +35mm.
Link below.
I took them off because the tires could not be driven in the winter and I...
That was an excellent video.
I'm really impressed he broke out the durometer and checked the rubber composition of each set. That is something a LOT of people do not think about but can have really huge consequences when running LT tires on lighter vehicles like our Bronco's (as compared to...
Great ... now the oil dealers are going to have ADM over their msrp's.
We'll all have to get "reservations" from the Granger Oil Reserves.
Still hoping for another "Grange-tober Fest" special!!
2027 Super Duty please!
@Zach@Granger LOL!
LOL!
This motor?
The one Ford had people banned from B6G if they created threads about the motors dropping valves?
... until they were forced to have the recall?

GM and BMW have a "Black Sapphire" that has just a touch more blue than AMB .
That is the color that drove me to choose AMB. I buffed out a late 80's Vette back in the day and it hooked me.
Lol!
Is it sold as "NEW" or "Used".
I don't think they can sell it as "New" once it leaves the lot on a previous sale, even with the buyback language.
I worked at a family owned dealer DECADES ago.
Not uncommon for cars to be driven by the staff for any number of reasons.
Department managers...
I know his pain. LOL
A certain gas station chain in this area has EXCELLENT canopy lighting at night.
The first couple years I had owned it, I looked like a nut-case every time I filled up there at night .... walking around the Bronco getting pics from various angles, hold the camera up high...
I like my AMB base Base just fine, but I'd maybe get a base Badlands manual since ManSquatch was not available at that point. Maybe add Mid & tow pkg since it would be available at that trim.
Location?
Around here , northern Indiana, plain old Bases are around 32k.
BaseManSquatch would maybe see high 30's??? Plus you're two years newer than mine.
Check Cars.com within 150 miles of you for similar builds.
You won't get what dealers ask, maybe 2k less or so.
That damn thing is a fight to get open every time, despite the claims that the tailgate itself is very light.
So it's all a function of the strut.
I just usually muscle through it and ,as you stated, wait for the strut to catch up.
I've also had to learn to just go full 90* every time if you...
I've been carrying a flame for Lightning Blue, though Flame Blue is pretty nice as well.
Velocity was great on my 4 door, but I like the AMB on 2drs better.
The bottom number on the sales invoice is not the only thing to consider.
Granger is without a doubt excellent, I bought one through them.
I also have a great small town dealer not too far away to price check through. That is where Bronco #1 came from.
That being said, the cheapest option for...
I love this lie the gov't / politicians sold us.
If we turned every kernel of corn into ethanol, let all the livestock starve, etc etc ... that ethanol would replace about 20% of what we need for fuel.
What did ACTUALLY happen, all the politicians started buying into corporate farms either...
