  1. Bronco on fire

Wife pointed this out to me. Near West Palm. Hate to see it.
  2. Bronco newbie must have mods for mpg and wind sound

Set gauge cluster to show boost. Stay out of it. Only other option is that vehicle with Sport at end of the name.
  3. "I Do Cars" Teardown of 2022/110k mile 2.7L EcoBoost from F-150 with obliterated piston

Maybe the dropped valve burned off completely causing the damage, unlike the intact one with heat damage. We will never know.
  4. We love Broncos but… what’s the most annoying “small issue” with your Bronco?

All Fords. Randomly switches to outside air at highways speeds. Not so nice of a random temp change. Don’t know if other brands do it. I only subject myself to Fords quirks.
  5. Bronco Grill Garage wall art

Ya I agree. Thought of putting OEM rims up on garage wall
  6. Bronco Grill Garage wall art

I like it but, 6g items are not art worthy yet. Only a gen 1 deserves to be on display. Either with original patina or restored is fine.
  7. We wrapped our hardtop because Ford denied our color mismatched panels, ...details inside!

Looks great. But you are probably right about failure down the road. Ford basically wrapped it in whatever material it is and it fails. Ford doesn’t care about cosmetic match. I have the new door seals. Completely different sheen.
  8. Oil viscosity ratio

Have 2 Fords requiring 5w-30 and one requiring 5w-20 at 6 quarts. Hate buying that $14 extra quart. The Maverick uses 5w-30 at about 5 2/3 of a quart and Bronco uses 5w30 at 5 quarts so I keep an extra 5 quart jug around for top offs. Thoughts on 1 quart of 5w30 as the 6th quart on oil changes...
  9. What do you love most about your Bronco? What do you hate?

I’m going to go soft on this one. It still gives me that new girlfriend feeling when I walk by it or drive it. That just sums it up. Dislikes. As in another thread. Crap interior plastic.
  10. (Seized M210 Axle) Need Help with Warranty Through Ford Parts

I get that it’s Fords way. That’s like buying a car radio from Crutchfield and paying a local shop to determine if it’s broken or you dumped coffee into it.
  11. Starting over

They don’t want to spend another penny on a bigger battery. And I bet it is assumed buyers needing it would carry a jump pack. Isn’t it nice how manufacturers can spend less based on current technologies and conveniences available to us today in their favor.
  12. We love Broncos but… what’s the most annoying “small issue” with your Bronco?

Windows fixed for free if still under warranty period. Still lame to be sent out that way. Option changes are ways to maximize profits. It would be nice to just have a Bronco and select what you want. But that’s not the best for profits. Besides, mine trim has the orange badge on the side. So...
  13. (Seized M210 Axle) Need Help with Warranty Through Ford Parts

I would think a unit sold assembled should have a part warranty. I can see a dealer charging for diagnostics as they didn’t make any money. On the other hand I don’t see why you have to pay a dealer to inspect a part sold to you from somewhere else. Guess reading fine print is required before...
  14. We love Broncos but… what’s the most annoying “small issue” with your Bronco?

Interior plastic is the only thing that truly bothers me. I have OCD, so it’s a little worse. And you get the feeling of being ripped off on money spent. I will add the CarPlay issues. Along with rock chip issues coming in third.
  15. We love Broncos but… what’s the most annoying “small issue” with your Bronco?

That and the ASS button are in different locations on all 3 of our Fords. But AC and steering wheel controls they keep pretty consistent. The push pull design I don’t care for either. Just be thankful the Bronco doesn’t have the rotary shifter.
  16. Starting over

Nothing. I like my 22 Badlands with mod bumper as the only option. Does everything I need and want. Just happy to have it. Not many unnecessary electronic options other than standard to go bad. Ford would have to do a lot more improvement than colored top or upgraded steering rack to make me buy...
  17. Down firing sub question….

Rattles will also depend on the frequency range and level the sub(s) are playing and the volume level. I can cause lots of rattles playing with DSP boosting upper bass frequencies or crossover point. Install it and go from there.
