  1. Can’t stop redlining the 2.3

I would like nothing more than a 600hp v8. But I am impressed with the 2.3 and the 2.0 in the Maverick. Not sure about longevity if constantly ran hard. But I don’t so no worry. And no fake engine sounds from mine. I wouldn’t buy it if it can’t be shut off.
  2. Amp suggestions after speaker upgrade

I ran 6(or)new to the front. 2 for dash and two for the kicks. Ran 2 to the radio to pick up rear OEM wire. And ran 4pr from radio back to amp for inputs. Really only use 2 off front radio output to feed the amp. DSP amp allows mapping where each channel gets its input from. I don’t use the...
  3. Amp suggestions after speaker upgrade

Stop tossing money. Get something like the Helix V eight DSP amp. Install it yourself and learn the software. And be done. Infinite adjustments, no adapters.
  4. Burst (Swollen) Rear Camera

Someone else posted this same issue on Facebook
  5. Rear Courtesy Light Retainer Clip

Flat spring steel. Go buy a cheap tape measure of similar width. Take it apart and get the spring out of it. Few pr of needles nose pliers and a file. You should be able to bend one up easy enough. Or a cheap pop in retrofit light can. About $10. Another option is to degrease plastic and apply a...
  6. 23 Badlands Brake Booster Push Rod Failure

Bronc Buster will come out with a Brake booster push rod brace and Ford will follow up with a plastic one.
  7. OEM Wipers Not Cutting It — Best Upgrade?

No issues with OEM 2022. However I treat my glass with Griots ceramic 3in1 spray wax.
  8. ACTIVE RECALLS DISAPPEARED FROM FORD APP

My recall has returned. Along with wait for it. A Sirius Radio update. Oh boy. What’s interesting is there has never been updates in the app shown for our other 2 Fords. 1 actually uses Sirius.
  9. Wire management tips/suggestions?

I believe there is only one way to do the wiring properly if you want clean wiring. Tying up extra somewhere is not the answer. Not wrong, just not the best. Cut the light harnesses and add new wire of proper lengths. You can temporarily run them and bundle them with small ties or tape. Then...
  10. Honest opinion on 2026 Bronco OBX and anniversary package

Aware. I could always tell the trim by those grill differences. I guess you could say it’s 1 of 4 different grills not just by color/sheen.
  11. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Looked at it proudly in the garage this am while washing my wife’s cough, Sport.
  12. Honest opinion on 2026 Bronco OBX and anniversary package

Too address your 2 questions about noise. No first hand knowledge as I run a 22 Badlands covered wagon. I would thing and aftermarket 2 piece hard top would cut down on noise. Such as the Turn Offroad. 2nd. Get some sound deadening added to the interior. Ford applies none. It makes a world of...
  13. Honest opinion on 2026 Bronco OBX and anniversary package

The 60th is nice. But each trim runs a different grill. So that is not unique.
  14. Motorcraft oil versus Mobil 1

I use Mobil 1 or Castrol. Mostly because they are good. O’Reilly is nearby. Always a rebate which makes the price great for the next oil change. I use Wix filters from Rock auto
  15. Rubbing on 35s

Not an expert. When does it rub? Turning or suspension stuffed? Turning only I would assume tires could be larger than stock. When stuffed I would assume suspension issue. Bump stop. Someone with more knowledge will chime in.
  16. Bronco on fire

Could be right. Might have had corroded CCA wire come loose and no fuse or too large of a fuse.
  17. Bronco on fire

    Heard the blinker fluid overheated
  18. The dumbest ish you have done in your Bronco.

That’s ok. I’m in the broadband industry. Stayed at a condo for vacation and TV would not turn on. Called maintenance. It was unplugged. We’ve all done something stupid. But in your Bronco??? That’s bad.
  19. Bronco on fire

Doesn’t appear from pic to be engine related. Hard to tell. Definitely interior.
  20. Optional Maintenance for 4+ Year Old Cars?

Firm believer in all fluids changed. Oil and air filter often. Never as far out as manufacturers recommend. Also, get hands and eyes on everything possible for inspection. Belts, wiring pinch points, hoses and plastic pipes.
