I like to see it but I harbor no illusions that one of these is in my future. Frankly an Early Bronco with a wheezing old 302 is more interesting to me and relative to my own realm of possibilities. But I do love to see these examples pushing the envelope. We can all dare to dream.
OK yours looks nice too LOL. But while a Heritage is cool, you can buy it right from the factory, as-is. @james1414d put some thought, time and effort into his custom build while keeping the look clean and bold.
Love the Cliffhanger edition. Would be cool if they actually wheeled it on Cliffhanger and posted the shots. At any rate, add me to the "say, those raptor fenders don't look so bad on a 2-door" crowd. The article on BN doesn't say what all Raptor bits it has underneath but those sure look like...
How about just "orange". And "blue". and "yellow" and "green". Rather than 10 shades of gray and a handful of off-colors that are nothing like what they are named.
No I never ran that combo (35's with the 5.13s). I briefly ran the 37's on the 4.46 gears for about a week before I did the re-gear, but not the other way around. And yeah still happy with the gearing.
I remember mentioning in my thread how tiny the pinion gear looks when you have it in hand...
I have a manual but I wouldn't run that. Mostly because I don't run a tire cover and have no desire to. But also because I just don't get why anyone would want the shift pattern in huge numbers and lines on their tire cover. But who knows, maybe folks will love it. I've been wrong before.
There is some debate about this. Most will say 5.38. On mine I did 5.13 after doing all the calculations and I'm happy with it as a good compromise between off-road low range and high speed freeway driving. Mine is a 2.3L with manual trans and with the Crawl gear it has, I have not found it...
A body shop or Ford dealer can order the hard plastic piece for you. Last year we shattered our rear window and the body shop ordered all the parts. They're sold separately, not as a complete window assembly.
Well I don't have any new photos of my 6G because we've been wheeling our Early Bronco the last couple of trips. So here's one from this past weekend out at Truckhaven for So Cal Broncos ETDS :)
