Agreed. But I doubt the OP wants to drive all the way back to his out-of-state dealer to have it done.
Just use Goo-Gone and a credit card to scrape it off. Enjoy your ride!
A local dealer actually tried this with me when I was first shopping around. Went somewhere else real quick. Love the 78% nitrogen from the factory line!
Starting in 2024 Ford added a second bolt to the top, but either version should be flush with the frame without spacers. I switched out the factory bolts with these quick removal ones and they tighten by hand. It doesn't take a lot of force to tighten the bracket snug to the frame.
Mabett sells one that is the same style as the OEM. I bought just the back crossbar since I got the rack when I bought the truck. It is almost identical to the OEM and seems to be of equal quality. It even came with the same tool Ford supplies for removing.
Amazon has them here
I waited 20 months to get get delivery on my Bronco, but I got exactly the vehicle I wanted. The issue I would have with ditching it for another would be that some of the options I have are not even available anymore. That being said, I don't think I could live with the anxiety and frustration...
I took @BAUS67 advice and let the car idle for 15 minutes this morning with headlights/radio/heat off. I saw no change in the voltage gauge, still read 15.2. Took a 4 mile trip to the store and on the way back the ASS started functioning again. The voltage dropped to 14 when the engine cut...
The ASS stopped working several months ago, but I considered that a good thing. I always manually shut it off anyway. So I don't believe it is temperature related. My main concern is that I am shortening the batteries life by running below full charge for extended periods.
Thanks for the...
I typically take only short drives, 3-4 miles several times a week with and occasional trip 10-12 miles. So when the ASS stopped working I contributed it to the battery not being fully charged. The voltage gauge would always be in the 14.2-14.8 range, but lately it has been up to 15.2.

This issue is the first I've had. 2023 OBX with just under 3k miles. Came home and parked in the garage. Went out a few minutes later to get something out of the car and got the parking brake fault message. I just did my first oil change yesterday, and reset the oil life monitor...just a...
I did the same thing but on March 7th they showed up on Amazon again so I bought it. Works like a charm. I remove the center roof panel and place it on top of the back cap and then lift off both pieces at once. I can also confirm that you don't need the half moon post.
My 2023 OBX with navy cloth seats came with gray accents. Back in 2021 when I ordered, the build and price showed blue accents which is what I thought I would be getting. I prefer the gray so it was a welcome surprise when I picked it up.
