It's already been mentioned, but start with the owners manual. Then I would go through all the menu items for the instrument cluster to see what you can monitor while your driving. Do the same with the Sync screen. If you have any questions, just search here. There is probably a thread on it...
Only Ford knows how many tops are defective based on warranty claims, and they're not telling. From the customers point of view, it doesn't matter what percentage are bad, if you got a bad one, it's a problem.
I wasn't able to find it in the Fordpass app either, the only thing there is what you mention. I found it in my account at Ford.com. The version is also available in the settings screen in the Bronco, but no date as to when it was installed.
The last update I received was version 10.1.1. Is that the latest? Also, it doesn't have a date as to when the update was actually installed, so it could have been some time ago. I think knowing the date installed would be helpful.
EDIT:
Actually found the info I was looking for in my Ford...
Being body colored is the reason I did cover them! 😬 I thought that they stood out like a sore thumb. If I had a black Bronc it probably would have been way less noticeable. It's a good thing that you don't find them objectionable, saved some $ not having to cover them up.
I went through the procedure to turn off the seat belt chime for the drivers seat and got the flashing seat belt warning light as a confirmation, but it still chimes. Any other tricks to try?
Did you try to do a window reset yourself? I just had the same issue with rear passenger window and the reset fixed it. It took about 6-8 tries but eventually worked.
