My only experience with this was back in 2008 when I bought a Chevy Silverado. At the time Chevrolet was offing $5000 cash back or 0% financing. The offer was from Chevy, the dealership had nothing to do with it. They also had other “tier” offers, such as $3000 cash back with 1.9% financing. If...
Another vote for the factory jack and wood. I use a couple of pieces of 2x6's stacked under the jack. It lifts both the front and rear with only a few turns of the jack screw.
I've set my alarm off a few times with the keys in my pocket, so i disabled the panic button on the FOB. You probably rolled the windows down and set off the alarm the same way, inadvertently pressing the buttons.
I'm not sure I follow you. I not implying that I use a bike rack as a anti-theft device, just that having it makes it more difficult to get the tire off since the rack is locked to the hitch receiver. If someone is that determined to get the bike rack off and then the spare, then yeah, they...
That Bronco looks like it was in the ocean! I live about 1 mile from the beach (as the crow flies) and don't have a single bit of corrosion as far as I can tell. It is garage kept though. The salt air takes it's toll on any bare metal outside.
I just keep my hitch mounted bike rack on most of the time. You can't get the tire off when its installed. I'm sure if someone really wanted to steal it they could, but hopefully they would just move on to an easier target.
Thanks for the detailed explanation, very helpful. When I checked the actual battery voltage using a multimeter, I was at 14.55V with the engine running which I believe is normal for a AGM battery. The voltage just after shutting the engine off was 12.56 which was about right as well. The...
Do you know how or if the voltage gauge relates to the battery SOC? I've been trying to figure out what's going on for months now. For at least the last 6 months, I've been at 15.2 -15.4 at startup, and may drop to 14.8 or so as I drive (I'm mostly doing short trips of less than 5 miles). I...
I haven’t driven the bronco for several days so I decided to put the battery maintainer on. As soon as I pulled the hood release I heard a “woosh” sound come from the back, best described as what you hear when you pull a pressure release on a compressor. It only lasted a second or less. Any idea...
I used this. Had to keep repeating it many times but eventually fixed the problem (rear passenger window)
Window bounce back after fully closing
If the window in your Bronco bounce back and reopens after fully closing, it means the auto window feature needs to be reprogrammed. Follow the reset...
I went back and checked the original equipment packages available, and it seems that that not all models were able to upgrade to the high or lux. Add Heritage to the ones that can't upgrade.
You can always get a Raptor which comes with the lux as standard 😬
The 360 camera was originally available with the high package, as well as with the lux. But Ford has combined them now so it it a high/lux package that they call lux now.
That is weird that the heritage doesn't allow you to upgrade it. Last time I was on the B&P the outer banks comes with the...
