I would ask what the non-tax, etch and conveyance fees are. If the conveyance fee is the delivery fee, everyone pays the same whether the vehicle traveled 1500 miles or 10.
We already know that reservation date only matters when compared to other reservations at the same dealer. There also appears to be some sort of randomness in the programming for some of the few that seem to hit the lottery. It also seems like ordering a soft top is not the panacea that many...
Ford restricted the ability to transfer dealers last fall. My guess is some dealers were loosing reservations to other dealers who offered a better deal.
We have been told that only Ford can transfer a reservation and will only do so on a case by case basis with a good reason. Perhaps your customer should consider making a new order with you if they can't get anywhere with customer service.
The tow and MIC are constraints but there have been some strange things happening this week on the B&P that have been unexplained like no SAS on lower trims.
If the MIC top were the only issue, then I'd be scheduled by now. I have an October 2020 reservation, re-ordered right away in October 2021, BL, mid, SAS, tow, soft top. Haven't heard so much as a peep.
My reservation date remained October 2020. The code simply means to Ford not to build it at this time. If you choose not to build, you will have to place a new order when the MY2023 banks open up as prices and specifications change each model year.
You can have your dealer add a code of "99" to your order which means don't build. I did that with my 2020 reservation as I didn't want the first year model.
You have to work through your dealer for any changes to your order. Supposedly changing to a soft top will help you get your Bronco sooner. Some people have claimed that their orders were picked for production shortly after making that change but I'm still waiting.
There are many variables that come into play, primarily related to your dealers allocations, your reservation/order date and where you stand in line in relation to other orders at that dealer and lastly what you ordered in regards to constraints. There was a post today on Bronco Nation that...
Thanks for the update. Can you tell us any patterns from the vehicles that are being pulled for production such as reservation month, models, etc. Are they generally being pulled in order of reservation time stamp?
