I forgot about Loctite (I'm old and brain damaged), and the red, as i remember, is forever, so blue Loctite it is! I can't imagine that they didn't see the catch can, so maybe the mechanic didn't want to hassle you, so lucky for you!

I'm getting the 2.3, but it looks like the bracket that holds the catch can is the same for the 2.7, so have you noticed any problems with only having 1 small bolt holding the mounting bracket? Thanks!

My BD 2.3 7MT is scheduled for build 10/17, and the J&L catch can is going to be my first mod. The only concern that I have with it is that there's only 1 small mounting bolt for the plate, and I was wondering if you've had any problems with it coming loose or do you tighten it occasionally...

I'll call it grey. And I'm really not sure how you don't see a difference between the fender flare and the bumper; it doesn't look much lighter to you in the third picture?

Third picture down, the fender looks grey compared to the black of the bumper! Looking at the shadow on the ground, the sun is obviously directly shining on the fender, which I have a feeling is why it looks grey, but it is definitely grey!

Hope Hotheads gets their headliner out soon, as it seems to be a highly regarded item among the Jeep crowd. That being said, they own Jeeps, so take it with a grain of salt!
