Yeah I had the AR ball from my top mount. I did not know they make a ram ball with a hollow center. You need about 1 1/4 inches past the base of the ball to get good contact with the threads.

Just picked up my manual 2dr base yesterday (shifts silky smooth) I had a blend date of 4/26/23 and it has the updated "AB" Transmission. I was worried If they had kept using the older version in the new builds. Hopefully anyone with a build date around or after that should be good.

The wait is over. 2dr basemansquatch. Here is my timeline to help those maybe figure out while waiting. Once it showed shipped it left MAP and was in Atlanta in about 5 days later by rail car. off loaded on Friday to ground transport and at the dealer (in Tennessee) the followng tuesday.!!
