Yea thanks man! I was also busy on meetings while working too so that didn't help as I couldn't fully read and understand the press release along with what you were trying to tell me.
Sorry and thanks for following up with Mike via email.
Now we know for sure. :(
This was my fault. I assumed with the announcement and EyeQ4, that automatically meant that the Bronco was getting "Active Drive Assist".
I was overly excited and wishing. Had I thought about it more, i probably wouldn't have made a post.
Sorry all, I now see what BoostedBronco was trying to tell me.
I've updated the first post of the thread along with the title to reflect this. Boosted is correct, and I was wrong / assuming too much.
EyeQ4 is more than just "Active Drive Assist", although that *can* be part of it, we don't...
Disregard. You're right. I might be wrong here.... I was jumping the gun for wishful thinking.
You're right, EyeQ4 is more than just "Active Drive Assist". It *can* include it but doesn't mean it will.
You can get a manual Bronco though.
I think you mean, "I can't get a manual Bronco with some of the options that I want." Which, fair enough then. Your life, your money!
I promise you though, Ford will have enough sales that it won't bother them to lose a few due to not offering a manual in...

OP here....
I personally WANT this feature. I'm in my 30s and a lot of my peers want these features too.
The younger people, even more.
"Computers" have been running various things in your vehicles for years though...
Traction control, stability control, ABS, etc. Its all done with sensors...
Huge announcement today with Ford's deal with Intel.
Mike confirmed it on Twitter.
UPDATE/NOTE: Sorry if I might have jumped the gun with assumptions. I was/am super hopeful because this is a feature I'd truly like to have (along with the ability to turn it off too).
Sorry, all if I've misled...
One of the BEST comments I've read on YouTube watching Bronco videos (I forget the exact video, pretty sure it was one of TFL's...)
Jeep: "I am never going to financially recover from this."
Yea, not to mention if there is, (God forbid) an accident and the tire hits you in the back of the head. I hope the tire you permanently have in your backseat is secured in some manner if it lives back there.
They're removing it from one side but the other side will have "Wrangler" because Goodyear says it's part of their branding and they aren't removing it completely.
So they came up with a compromise with Ford. And I guess Ford is going to mount the tires so that nothing on the outside of the...
I think there are too many factors to possibly know that...
1) Is COVID still a big issue and our economy gets even worse?
2) Did Ford have any major manufacturing defects and the first model year is riddled with serious issues?
3) Basically the opposite of 2. Did Ford completely knock it out...
