Typically your dealership might require a non-refundable deposit of $500 or $1000 once you submit your order sheet.
So if you back out of the deal and never take delivery, the dealer still makes out a little for the hassle of now having to sell the vehicle on its lot.
Me personally? I don't care about overlanding so I'd like to get the badlands 2.7 w/ the 10-speed, sasquatch, lux, but no leather seats. I like the idea of the wash out interior and marine vinyl seats.
I'll also change the 35" MT tires to ATs for better on-time performance.
My comments were...
If I wanted an "overlanding" Bronco I'd get a 4 door badlands with the 2.3 with an auto and no sasquatch.
I'd want to try to balance max space with fuel efficiency.
In the TFL video they said that the price includes a new 10 speed auto to work with the v8 because of the computer and the v8 either isn't compatible or they don't know how to make it work with the stock transmission.
I'll be honest, I don't think it will and I'm not expecting it to.
I have a 2006 4Runner with 176,000 currently and that thing has been the best vehicle I've ever freaking owned.
It's just that the new Broncos will have basically everything I want. All the cool tech, offroad ability, ability...
I feel the same way. I actually tend to avoid American cars. They're largely trash.
However, I'm taking a chance on the Bronco because it's so damn cool and loaded with tech.
Ford has one chance to convert me. Otherwise, back to boring but reliable Toyota.
I mean by doing math you can see this is not accurate.
$47,651
-$7,000
-$5,000
========
$35,651
Then, $35,651 / 60 = $594.18333333333333
And that's without tax, title, registration etc.
Also nobody knows the prices of these options or packages yet. That hasn't been announced officially to...
Yup. I am.
I mean Iove tech so secretly I was hoping the new Bronco would have "Active Drive Assist".
I was also hoping for a plug-in hybrid option that could maybe travel like 30 miles with using the electric motors only or something crazy like that.
But I feel like both features will come...
An interesting video where multiple products are compared
NOTE - There is a Krown center in Erie PA (which is prob closest to me) although I do not like the fact that they drill holes and to get a "lifetime" warranty, you have to get it sprayed every year.
I don't want to be "that guy" but if you care about ride quality the most, perhaps you should be looking at Bronco Sport
It's honestly not bad for what it is. I think it's kind of rad actually with the table that folds down, under seat storage, molle straps on the back of the seats, etc.
PA operated like this. The last vehicle I purchased, I got a great price in Ohio. I paid no taxes there but I had to pay PA taxes once I registered it here in PA.
X-Plan is a predetermined price *IF*
1) Bronco is even X-Plan eligible (rumor is everything but the "First Edition" will qualify. That's just a rumor though. Nothing confirmed officially yet)
2) Your local dealer accepts X-Plan pricing.
