Again, keep in mind these are prototypes. Either the process wasn't nailed down 100 percent yet or they just didn't care about that aspect of the product just yet because they were tinkering with other things.
I doubt they'll let things like this go out the door in 2020 especially with this...
Remember these are all "prototypes" and while they might be very close to what the production version will look like, they still might be "off" a bit.
Especially with the interior.
I plan on getting all the tech I possibly can (Badlands with Lux). I personally like the tech, but I also know it's expensive and yes, can break.
But I'm willing to pay for it.
If BLIS and safety is your biggest concern then I'd recommend researching the cheapest new vehicle that offers BLIS...
Yea I am still super pumped. I know what packages I'm going to get. My internal battle is 2-door or 4-door and what color.
2-door looks so much better and will be slightly better offroad.
But the 4-door looks like a tank and more practical for a daily driver. I also like that the doors can fit...
There's a place that's fairly close to me that gets fantastic reviews. I'll take my Bronco there annually for them to spray it.
Seems like they charge anywhere from $150 to $270 depending on the level of detail you want them to do (remove the spare tire, remove plugs, take off tail lights, etc).
For me, I think X-Plan will save like $1000 to $1500. Obviously that's money I'd rather have (duh) but, to be honest, in the grand scheme of things, it isn't *that* much on a $50-60k purchase.
So if Ford decides not to offer X-Plan pricing on the new Bronco, as much as it would pain me, I would...
Here's my Bronco story.
My dad was diagnosed with cancer in 2009. He fought it off but then it came back. Luckily he had good union benefits at the electric company so he didn't have to worry about working during treatments. He wanted to keep his mind off of his cancer so sometime in 2010 he...
Exactly!
To the whiners: If you don't like what Ford has done here, feel free to purchase a Jeep or 4Runner or create your own car company and offer a badass offroader with every option a la carte and see how that works out for you.
I think it'll be a combination.
Fridge, roof racks, winch, lights, etc
But also stupid things like tumblers, tents
, chairs, coffee mugs, jackets, etc.
So there might be 200 items but only 10 that have any interest to you or enhance the vehicle in a functional way.
Yea but you can use the X-Plan PIN from MCA to purchase any Ford vehicle that is eligible for X-Plan pricing.
I subscribed to MCA too for the $25 just to be able to get a PIN when I order.
Don't really care about the actual club or being affiliated with the club. I just want a decent price.
The current rumor is that all AZDX Plans will be accepted for Bronco trims other than the First Edition.
Since that is a special limited production run, they will not be accepting discounts.
BUT I HEARD THE $3.50 VERSION DOES NOT COME WITH A MANUAL! WTF FORD! GET IT TOGETHER! IF FORD DOES NOT OFFER THE MANUAL IN THE VERSION THAT COSTS $3.50 I WILL CANCEL MY RESERVATION AND I WILL ASK ALL OF THE KARENS TO CALL ALL OF THE MANAGERS AT FORD!
Depends on the trims....
Is an AMG G 63 SUV equal to the base model 4-door Bronco (no lockers)? No. Hell no.
What about a 2-door Badlands with the sasquatch package vs the G 550 SUV? Honestly, the 2-door badlands w/ sasquatch might be more capable offroad than the G-550, sure BUT the G 550 has...
The quote was, "Reservation turned into an order"
Meaning that the customer lost their hand money but the dealership was still responsible for the vehicle from Ford and had to see it on their lot.
