I don't think anybody knows for sure b ut you
I hope you're right but I feel like your prices estimates are low.
I feel like Lux will be a $4000-$4500 on its own.
$2000 for the 2.7 w/ the 10-speed
$1500 for sasquatch on the Badlands edition because it has most of it already.
I'm learning either Area 51 or Race Red....
But that Cactus Grey with the white top and hood hooks is gorgeous! I really hope that the white top is an option on the Badlands.
My local dealer (Shults Ford Harmarville in Pittsburgh, PA) got back to me in a very nice email!
They don't anticipate ADM at all and if the Bronco is in fact X-Plan eligible, they WILL honor it! So please add them to this master list!
Here's their full response:
Dear David...
Definitely would be a great idea and I personally would have no worries and would do that, but, in our current COVID environment, a company like Ford isn't going to risk having multiple strangers test drive a car.
The last thing they want is the media running with a story that says, "Ford being...
Thank you! I also just joined MCA to be eligible for X-Plan pricing. Yea, definitely worth the $25 of insurance to know you'll get a fairly decent price even being an early adopter.
I also emailed the local dealer I selected to see if they'll offer X-Plan pricing on the new Broncos. Once they...
I'm with you. Most of my vehicle's life will be spent commuting and as a daily driver. I do intend to take it out on trails during the weekends though! Definitely going to have fun with it, but it won't *just* be a weekend toy for me.
And shifting a manual in hour-long stop and go traffic SUCKS...
Great, now you just made my decision even harder. Most of these look good to me. I hadn't even considered red before but I think it looks cool.... As well as both blues, and Area 51... and.... ugh! 1st world problems lol
I kind of like them too, but I'm going to ask a stupid question. I've seen photos of a bronco with cables going from the hood loops to, what looked like an aftermarket roof rack. But that cable didn't look like it was securing anything.
What the heck is the purpose of that? Just for looks?
I think they're doing the best they can and some of this is subject to change. Hell, by December this might not even be nailed down and things could very well change for Broncos that are ordered later on in the year....
I've never purchased a new vehicle myself but I've seen things like that...
It is a big deal to me too. I am hoping I can get: 4dr Badlands + want the vinyl seats + rubber floor + Sasquatch + LUX + 2.7 (which obviously comes with the 10-speed auto)
I am hoping "Lux" doesn't also come with leather seats. Hopefully, they make that a separate option entirely.
The other thing to consider is some other options you might be interested in.
For instance, I believe "Trail Control" can only come with the 10-speed and the Trail One Pedal Drive you can only get that with the 2.7L
So in order to have both, you'd have to have the 2.7L (which comes with the...
TL;DR: For me personally, this stole a sale away from Toyota
Unnecessary long details: So I have a 2006 4Runner Sport with 176,000. Honest to God, freaking LOVE that thing. Super reliable and never needs much.
However, the new 4Runners are just... well, old, tired, and boring. Will it run...
Same here. I got an email from the dealer I selected saying thanks for reserving one. They'll let me know more information as it becomes available to them and if I have any questions to reach out to them and that they'd be happy to help.
Well, if 35s were all you were after you could just go aftermarket then. I guess if you wanted the Ford wheels you'd have to order them, but then yea that might get very steep.
