Pretty equal, if you get the auto transmission, the non-sas Badlands has 4.46 gearing instead of 4.7. So the Base Sas would have slightly better gearing for 35's. With the Manual trans, it's the same gearing. The Base Sas wheels have a different off-set for 35's, and wider fender flares to match.

Add a V8, and a real tail-gate, lose the flares, and 90% of the electronics. The Lux package should be an A.M radio and floor mats.

Adding Sas to a Badlands is gerenally a waste of money, especially if getting the manual transmission. A couple might argue different, they are wrong.
