It's funny, Texas with private land has the same result as New York State where the public sector owns 37% of the land, but you can't off-road on it. The state took ownership of all Forest Service Roads, and the federal government only owns 0.8%, there are no national parks.
The public land...
The value proposition on this is bad unless you are in a position where your time is more valuable than the money, AND you don't know how to off-road, plan trips, obtain permits, camp... Then it becomes an opportunity to take part.
The thing that is striking about this offering is that you...
I swap between hard top in the winter and my Rampage Trailview soft top for the summer. Last year no issue with the initial install but this year it seems to be stretched out more.
When I park in my driveway it’s fine because it’s on a hill and drains but parked elsewhere it ponds up.
Anyone...

Thanks and likewise nice 2Dr base.
Please post pics and let us know how it does on whichever trails you find.
Also, if you haven't done the off-roadeo, it's highly recommended to do. I just went to the Nevada site last weekend and it was very instructional and fun. Of course, we aren't...
I would take it somewhere to be repaired first like flip said.
If the repair still shows marring, you could wrap them to match your body color as an upgrade.
The first thing I thought of when I saw a NC/SC/GA request was that @Blackcat just needs to join a local club, there are lots of places down there to attend events/ outings.
Fuel consumption - I get 22 mpg average with my '22 2.3L base with a mix of city/hwy driving. 24 mpg tops for highway. I'll be putting on bigger tires soon and it will likely drop some.
The seating style is close to bench seating-- i.e. feet on the ground and not forward. I had a hard time...
Agreed, if it were me, the only way I would pay $64k would be if I were going to keep it forever.
In a brief search I found $20k in savings buying a year old and 14k mi... that pays for a lot of upgrades...
Some people want to make others think they own a Raptor version.
They do pop in the rear-view mirror. I generally like the way they look, but like any fad it can be overdone.
I would consider some marker lights but more for blizzards and staying visible.
The 3 lights in the pick up grille started with the Raptor and are an ICC regulation for vehicles over 80 inches.
Hence Braptor/ Raptors that are over 80" wide. (not including mirrors)
Thanks for posting, they look great on those BD takeoffs. I've been hunting around for my next pair of tires and it's going to be < 33" for me due to the Bronco being my commuter.
Would you say the noise from the Baja Boss ATs is the same or worse than the OEM P255/70R18 Bridgestone Dueler...
Basically in order of contribution to mpg:
1. Driver style (heavy foot or light) (biggest impact)
2. City or highway (stop/ go, do you allow the engine to shut off?)
3. Tire diameter (up to 33") (>33">35") (>35") (rolling resistance, unsprung weight)
4. Accessories -- light bars etc...
When I'm running the hard top it's not so bad, and highways are fine. My aftermarket soft top is a no go on the highway over 55 mph. I'm sure the factory soft top is better, but
There are some decent threads on here about improving top fitment. That plus taking some marine grade...
People usually upgrade for looks or for capability, especially when they want to run harder trails or have met their limit. They grow into their off road experience, or already having that experience, choose to upgrade their vehicle to be more capable.
Everyone has different use and...
I was researching this option when looking at bike racks and quickly discarded the idea of a tire mounted rack.
I read on here the maximum stock tailgate weight limit without reinforcing is 133 lbs. So add your door, tire, and wheel together and subtract from 133 lbs and how much do you want...
