  1. Subwoofer delete installation advice, tips, tricks?

I've upgraded my dash speakers (Kicker 4") and the rear pods (SSV 6.5") and made forscan adjustments and now ready to install a real amp and speaker in the subwoofer delete on my Big Bend. I've ordered the Ford Fusion drop-in amp and Kicker 6 3/4 subwoofer and will be doing the install next...
  2. 2.3 ford performance tune and fuel octane?

I don't say this often, but that's a good wiki page! Lots of references. Good stuff!
  3. Soft top just gave up the ghost.

Might as well. You've got nothing to lose.
  4. Soft top just gave up the ghost.

  8. Big Bend NP area in February

I'm kicking around the idea of 3 nights trip to Big Bend in Feb for the wife and me in the Bronco. It has been years since I have been out that way and I did visit there before in Feb and it was pretty nice weather-wise though I know it can vary quite a bit during winter. Would appreciate tips...
  9. One month in and loving it!

I never could get my wife to ride with me on the motorcycles. Did a lot of solo trips and enjoyed the heck out of it, but gave up riding when my oldest was born almost 25 years ago. I doubt I'll ever get on a bike again. Still love 'em though! And still miss them at times.
  10. Issues out of the gate

My 2.3 brakes are a bit softer feeling than my other vehicles but not spongy. I got used to them fairly quickly and haven't had any pucker ups because of them.
  11. One month in and loving it!

Yeah, I'm running 93 and sport mode all the time. It's a grin machine with that combo! 🙂
  12. Took advantage of Jeep Conquest Cash.

  13. One month in and loving it!

Right at the 1 month mark on my standard issue Big Bend manual trans soft top and absolutely loving it! Not a single issue so far. Running like a top. Sitting just shy of 1200 miles of mostly Texas hill country backroads with the top down. This thing is even more fun that I thought it would be...

  16. My Ford Bronco

Thanks. I'm less confused now. 🙂
  17. My Ford Bronco

I'm confused. It was a manual transmission, correct? You were obviously in gear going up the hill. How did it roll backwards when you lost power and brakes? It seems to me being in gear and off the clutch pedal would have stopped it from rolling backwards. What am I missing?

    Central TX Bronco Club

    Very nice!
  19. Ripped off by Ford and Off-Roadeo

I'll preface this with I have not gone through the OffRoadeo reservation process myself yet so I don't know anything about the cancellation/refund policies, but are you saying you cancelled in accordance with those policies in a timeframe and manner where you would have received a refund and...
  20. Favorite Bronco rides in Texas hill country?

Sounds like all my old motorcycling roads from back when I rode sportbikes 20+ years ago. The 33x roads and 16 in particular were always fun!
