  1. Best Aftermarket Speaker Pods?

You can get the SSV pods with speaker and with the proper wiring harness already installed. Plug and play. I'm very happy with them. But I do recommend the forscan updates Brian_B mentioned above.
  2. Receiver issue - any way to fix?

Your wife was telling you how to fix it, but you cut her off. 🤷‍♂️ Sorry. Couldn't resist.
  3. Now Available: Steeda Bronco 2.3L/2.7L Axle-Back Exhaust System (2021-2024) w/Video

Got the exhaust in and finally had time to install this morning. I like it. No drone at highway cruising speeds. A bit droney at times running through the gears (I have manual trans), but tolerable. TJ at Steeda, I didn't purchase a tip when I got the exhaust. A couple questions regarding an...
  4. I mean I just had to get some snow pictures.

The best part of winter is watching it from south Texas. :) Though I wish I was a bit farther south this week. Brrrr
  5. 2.3L A/C Compressor Belt - INSTALL

Any idea what caused it to fail? Was it rubbing on something? I can't remember the last time I had a belt fail on a vehicle.
  6. Fuel Door Plunger Missing / Fix

Nice! Thanks for sharing the knowledge.
  7. Texas Off-Roadeo 3/29/25

We'll be staying at the resort Fri and Sat nights and driving back to NB on Sunday. Probably drive around the area backroads before heading home. I'm pretty familiar with the area. I used to ride motorcycles all around there back in the day when I lived in Austin. I'm a big fan of the...
  8. Texas Off-Roadeo 3/29/25

Just completed my and my wife's reservations for the 3/29/25 Texas Off-Roadeo. Kind of local for us so pretty convenient. Anyone else on here signed up for that particular date? Really looking forward to it!
  9. Possible to bypass battery kill timer?????

For the drive in, instead of playing it on your car radio download a radio app on your phone and connect to a Bluetooth speaker from your phone. Better than draining your car battery.
  10. FORScan Bronco Working Spreadsheet (double honk, sport mode, chimes, seatbelts, and more!)

That’s the adapter I have also. Works like a charm with forscan and able to see all the modules.
  11. Interior panels

Same on my Big Bend. Stuff like has never bothered me much though.
  12. 2.3L Manual - Any advantage in adding Sport Mode?

Gotcha. If it's based on Big Bend then I would assume it does have sport mode by default.
  13. 2.3L Manual - Any advantage in adding Sport Mode?

Evidently Heritage is based on Badlands so same GOAT modes as Badlands according to this thread https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/goat-modes-on-2023-heritage-limited.78357/
  14. 2.3L Manual - Any advantage in adding Sport Mode?

I agree with all of this. I never experienced the rev matching but, frankly, the performance tune doesn't add a whole lot on top of 93 octane and sport mode for the MT. The power comes on a little quicker with the tune and overall I feel like drivability is definitely better with the tune and I...
  15. Car died at stoplight - Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power Error

Put your battery on a Tender overnight and see if that helps. If not, try a new battery. Turn off start/stop every time it’s driven. That crap kills battery over time; especially if you are constantly running stoplight races.
  16. 2.3L Manual - Any advantage in adding Sport Mode?

I don't have Baja mode on my BB so can't compare.
  17. 2.3L Manual - Any advantage in adding Sport Mode?

Not Broncos, but sport mode on my F150 and my wife's Explorer (both auto trans) is almost too aggressive on the shifts. Especially downshifts. Not an enjoyable driving experience in either so we never run it in those. It's perfect with the Bronco manual trans though! ETA: I have the Ford...
  18. 2.3L Manual - Any advantage in adding Sport Mode?

Yes. It is worth it. That’s the only mode I drive in with my 2.3 MT.
