  1. My 2023 2 Door Stereo Upgrade (Base Radio starting point)

I have been considering dropping in a set of the 2-way components into my existing build: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...-dsp-speakers-and-sub-lots-of-pictures.43856/ I've got plenty of power to make to most of them, I'm worried about the depth of the basket though.
  2. My 2023 2 Door Stereo Upgrade (Base Radio starting point)

Those are some serious components! I'd love to know how the BLAM speakers work out, I have been very interested in their stuff.
  3. Audio Help!

Yes, the rears don't get a full range signal as you said. However, with a DSP, like the one in the JL amp he has, you can route the full range signal to the rears without messing with Forscan.
  4. Audio Help!

With the base system, this is one of the simplest installs possible. You might want to find a different place. Or do it yourself. You don't need harnesses, Forscan changes, or anything out of the ordinary to overhaul the base system. Here is what I did myself over a weekend...
  5. Planning my Audio Upgrade, does it make sense?

I have no idea. I have deliberately not changed and Forscan settings.
  6. Planning my Audio Upgrade, does it make sense?

I agree, dropping in co-axials is pretty easy. A 3-way setup would require some thought, fabrication and install expertise.
  7. Planning my Audio Upgrade, does it make sense?

Is this what you mean for the amp location? https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...-dsp-speakers-and-sub-lots-of-pictures.43856/ Yes, a small minority have gone with something other than the Kicker Key.
  8. Planning my Audio Upgrade, does it make sense?

I like option 1, should sound great. In option 2, I don't think you gain anything other than difficulty tuning it. Even if you use a DSP and go fully active, why do you want multiple co-axials?
  9. Planning my Audio Upgrade, does it make sense?

This will be miles better than the stock system. If you want unsolicited opinions, you are putting some good speakers in and powering them with budget amps. It seems to work fine for everyone else, but the speakers you are considering are pretty nice. Also, I would swap your 6.5 Audio Frogs...
  10. Planning my Audio Upgrade, does it make sense?

Nothing wrong with using different brands in the same system, as @RagnarKon said. Most important is you get the components that will deliver what you want. I am mixing Morels in the front with Kicker in the back. Morels for their sound quality and Kickers for their power handling. My only...
  11. Buyer beware morel speakers.

I could see having one bad speaker, but two bad speakers being put in the same box seems unlikely. My opinion only. Again, only my opinion, but running those same speakers with a quality amp will give you a very different result. If you get new speakers with no amp and they work fine, then...
  12. Planning my Audio Upgrade, does it make sense?

1300W is more than enough, my opinion only. Unless I missed something, 1300W is more than the kicker key 200.4 + the AC 800 will deliver. The only reason I said to consider different power options is that the AC 800.1 is a serious powerhouse and pushing a 12" sub is going to give you a LOT of...
  13. Buyer beware morel speakers.

Exactly. The head unit is underpowered for those speakers, if you keep pushing for more volume you will get distortion. I am running Morel Maximo 6 speakers with an Audio Control amp. No issues with sound quality...
  14. Planning my Audio Upgrade, does it make sense?

As @RagnarKon said, you might be unbalanced between your 2 amps. Your Kicker Key is going to be working hard to keep up with the sub amp. Another choice would be to go with a higher quality amp for the front and back channels to match the output of your proposed sub amp. You could then avoid...
  15. Buyer beware morel speakers.

Are you running off the head unit or amplified? Morels are great speakers but you need to power them appropriately.

  18. Fire Extinguisher Mounting in the Bronco - Show Your Installs

Fit fine for me. Bolted on very tightly so no issues with rubbing the paint. I may have put a washer under the mount so it never touches the paint.
  19. Front License Plate Bracket

Make your own with the factory plate mount. 5 minutes of time and 2 large zip ties. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/5-front-license-plate-mount.42238/
