@TrailDamage Fully understand.. been a ford guy my whole life and ford has used the heat exchange for a long time.
It sucks and hard sometimes to get around ā¦
Edited TrailDamage l like your knowledge, research, thorough process.. hats off to you
Thank you
Fordās approach is odd. Think they might have had a simpler design. They are using two coolers one water, one air. I think you need the know what rating the trans thermostat is to flow to air coolerā¦
I would still look at your radiator thermostat.
I have a manual, but friends⦠Tks
⦠I didnāt see which engine you have, but I donāt think it the radiator⦠I got a 25 2.3l with a 92c thermostat⦠Ford uses an 82c in the mustang 5.0 ā¦

Iāve had a couple times when the driver door was slow to respond. Reflecting on it believe I had doubled locked the vehicle w/ remote. I had walked away without locking, pressed twice to hear horn ⦠then again.
I have all components to install an oil cooler, but a gauge/ sensor⦠Looking for what brand people used. where you installed the gaugeā¦

"As more people keep posting about recovery gear I figure we should have a technical discussion.
1)First is making sure you control your failure point! You really want the strap or kinetic rope to be the yield point. People put to much emphasis on getting a big strap...
Hey Nate nice that you replied @Snacktime
Sorry you donāt like Matt⦠think he might say the same about your rigging posts. I could lol
No two riggings are the same, nor should the āfailure pointsā always be in the same place of the rigging.
Rigging needs are based on type of off roading...
@Snacktime ... seems you are still back at YOUR own words...
" 1) First is making sure you control your failure point ! "
Gee wiz how might someone do that ?
How /when would anyone [be dump enough to] rig a winch with a kinetic rope? there is a video of a K/R between two vehicles that...
To understand my needs and maybe @theblackangus
I have a winch and 100' of line (soft), to get the max power from the winch I need to spool out almost all of the line. BUT my attachment point is say 50" away.
There are several ways to rig, here are two.
In either one I do not want a break at...
when you have several lines out it's less of an issue.
three here and in some cases there are more than one recovery rig
because all are soft less danger [still danger just less]
When using metal you want if possible [not always because of unknown level of wear] to control where it breaks...
Here is the link to yankum, but itās what I posted.
Seems recovery has gone to all soft components⦠Mattās off-road recovery ut is interesting in his tuff recoveries⦠but his rig has many winches. I m doing solo things and may need redirecting gear that can only be metalā¦...
@theblackangus
After this thread I found
Yankum ropes safety catch sling
Description
āIf using a double winch ring set up with the line going through the winch twice, then a safety sling is recommended.
The safety sling is made to catch the line if case of line/shackle failure.
Simply run the...
With the exception of a true Race Vehicle no one does a competent tune... except the OEM that spends enough time, and $$$$$$$, other just screw with some fuel, timing etc... A turner that does road racing where you are on/off the gas all the time and need to manage fuel stops are good/better...
Agree got manual too⦠but I have forgotten to lock it with stuff in it, remote lock.
The phone never seems to match the vehicle data. Tire pressure readings lmao
