Keep in mind, our EZ-steps were the first to market and (still) 100% Made in the USA! :flag: EVERYTHING else you see in the market is a copy and made somewhere else 🇨🇳
From our trip to AOAA in PA a little while back. The 2-door has a capable bumper with some prototype parts on it. We didn't have the bull bar on at this time because we were still keeping it low-key at the time. The fat cat will be out of the bag early next year!
Butt-Puckery hooning in the 2-door
I think most non-rated (not for overhead lifting) recovery shackles you come across will be the 3/4" variety with 7/8" pins. The rubber washers are used to keep the rattling at a minimum. I wouldn't trust a 1" bumper hole for a 1" pin just for the fact that the bumper hole would have to be...
The Bronco equipped versions don't have 'Raptor' on them. To my knowledge, no one is making 'Bronco' badged bolt-on-rock-rail running boards. I don't believe anyone is making the rock rails with threaded inserts either. Those are the OEM options.
The heads of those bolts should have more than enough height to get a good set of vise grips on it. Could also try penetrating oil from the backside of the rivet nut. Meanwhile, you'll need to buy new ones from the dealer or order M8x1.25 screws/bolts for replacement.
As others have mentioned...
They aren't identical, but they are the same shape. And yes, they are flush with SAS flares, so do stick out a little on the narrower flares.
If you are willing to wait until early next year, we will have a solution for the narrower fitment.
We had alot of fun and learned alot as well on this outing. Mainly showcasing the IAG Rock Armor Skids. @9:00, you can get a look at our new HD lower trailing arm mount skid.
Now before you comment, I know these are light duty hits. I've seen what some of you have put our skids through...
I can confirm on the trans heat question. We tested our Raptor with and without full belly skids and saw no change in temps on back to back 100 degree days.
We do that! We are also working on a design that uses the Raptor style rock rails for those that opt for that package. I feel the hoop steps are the least attractive option, and while they are removeable, it's not a quick affair compared to the EZ-Steps. Interesting that they more than doubled...
