@SierraBronco This is the way!!! That torque is nice and our 10 speed can handle the RPMs through the gears. Sport mode it tends to redline when giving it the beans, but such is life. (Ford procal installed)
We rub on full lock with the HOSS 3.0 shocks. I would like to get the Fox 3.0 that 74Weld has, but may have to go RPG perch collars first. Trying to budget another $10k for shocks and UCAs may take longer than the trips we want to take.
Not tightening lug nuts? Them's rookie numbers. I got mine back after trying to fix the 360cameras in the side mirrors. Had a sensor zip tied, missing bolts, and both coolent hoses with broken clips and running down beside engine block.
I know where the fenders came from, but are those 5" flair? And do you think they still sell them or will I need to find another brand? I rub all full lock on flat ground. Can't imagine what it's going to be like on the trail.
@SierraBronco So looking at mine, you think the links can be pushed out more towards the wheels? And you welded vs using the brackets, correct? Had to put in my personal YouTube to post.
Our front pinion seal leaked on both our Broncos. Mine had a slight drip that I saw in the garage. I caught wife's as seepage while I was changing the oil so it hadn't really leaked onto the pavement. So you could just have seepage. But the spy level of code by the service guy is kind of strange....
I didn't do the 74Weld install myself so I'm not sure on the stub shaft and bolt; but if you have to replace a CV you can still use the same cut stub shaft correct?
Emailed Quinn today about the Fox 3.0 shock package they now have, he mentioned he moved contact points out and used a slightly heaver bar from RockJock (like you did I believe) which helped. He said the Bronco is on the softer side and will always have a bit of lateral movement. I need to...
@SierraBronco what did you do about balancing tires? Nothing, weights, or balancing beads. Mine aren't balanced with 38s but I feel an ever so slight shimmy at times. Think of getting them balanced as long as they can position the weights where the caliper doesn't hit. (It's always the calipers. 🤣)
I would much rather drive mine. We did Austin, Texas back in 2021 before our 1st Bronco arrived. Had a great time, but now with portals we could do it blindfolded... :ROFLMAO:
We're wanting to do NH since we have 2 Broncos and wifes is a 2023 so we have to do it by June. I just called them to see why NH wasn't pulling up. Got it answered; then asked about using our own Bronco. They said we still have to use theirs. I believe the one you're thinking of is the $$$...
