It's like I've said, my mind thinks I'm still in my 20's, my humor thinks I'm 12, but my body is pretty sure it fought in the Civil War.... I see your humor is is right on point. :ROFLMAO:
I don't mean to brag; but portals did just fine this morning. Probably due to the RK triangulation.... Plus with it being 25° we were at 27lbs. Hitting Costco speed bumps this afternoon probably. I'll report on any issues.
My dealership was so nice that after the 4th time trying to fix the 360 cameras, they left a pick tool sitting on the engine as a gift for me. Made me feel so loved.
I had a soft top but now have aftermkt hardtop, but I believe where the soft top folds back, check the plates on top to make sure you're not missing a bolt there. Above the 2nd row doors.
First bolts look like they could be for bumper accessory points or the bolts for the hardtop bolting to the body.
Edit, missed where you said you had softtop. Still think they could have something to do with the top. Those shaped bolts are found in several areas.
From this angle on mine, you can tell it's not a seam, but a milling line like @5GENIDN said. I have the same line but it doesn't continue on the bottom. Infact, it stops where the milling stops leaving a bit untouched before you get to the bottom.
Also of note, when I replaced the caliper...
So I've never asked other than just accepted it, but what is the purpose of the catch cans on the portals? I understand catch cans for the PCV and CCV but the portals don't have oil running in a cycle.
