  1. Bronco Sport already discounted

I always considered the Bronco Sport to not really be a Bronco. To me it is kind of a lost vehicle. Called a Bronco but without the off-road chops. Not surprised to see them discounted and won't be surprised if the disappear after not too long. The real Bronco will be in short supply for awhile...
  2. Washington State: What dealer are you using?

My order has always been with them. Glad your experience was good. I am all in for any demo day they might do.
  3. Breaking news: January ordering, Summer delivery, Black First Edition interior, no manual Sasquatch & more

Bummed to have to wait longer but not a deal breaker. Only bummer is that my trade-in will lose a bit more value.
  4. If your Bronco arrives and you don't like it

I am going to have to live with my Bronco for a year to decide. I plan on keeping it long term. Not sure what I would do if I really didn't like it. Next car after the Bronco will be for my wife.
  5. CACTUS GRAY THREAD!!!! if you’re choosing cactus gray lemme know. I think it’s the best color available at the moment.

Was set on Area 51, but overall family choice was for Cactus Gray which I also like. So Cactus Gray it will be on my future Badlands 2 Door Sasquatch.
  6. Why go with any doors at all?

No doors=Pacific Northwest slugfest in my Bronco. The slime would be hideous......
  7. Am I the only one who loves the interior options of the new Bronco?

I am fine with the marine grade vinyl in the Badlands. Going with the Lux package. It will be a nice Bronco but it will be getting dirty so no reason to get fancy with the seats. My Crosstrek has leather seats which I have to cover to not ruin them. Also compared to the Crosstrek the dash is...
  8. Why go 4-door unless you have to?

Being old and already having two other cars, I went 2 door, but flirted with 4 door. I could throw more crap in the back of a 4 door or carry more people comfortably. I live in an urban area with some tight parking garages and also will be heading to some narrow dirt roads, so the much shorter...
  9. Last Call: Manual vs. Auto.. Why? (HELP!!)

Wanting the 2.7 is more important than manual transmission for me. Also I live in an urban area so I don't want to be clutching constantly in traffic.
  10. Bronco Hard Top How-to Video: Remove Roof Rack, Panels and Hardtop

I will have a 2 door with a roof rack. The video was useful for me to see that it is easy to at least remove the front panels and throw them in the back. Doubt I will ever remove the back part.
  11. Anyone else get a Pre-Approval notice on their Bronco Reservation?

I got that pre-approval. Irrelevant for me as I am doing a trade-in and paying cash for the rest.
  12. We All Have Something to be Thankful for - Ford Bronco

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. I am 64 and every day am thankful for how incredibly lucky I have been to have met the love of my life in 1981 and have a beautiful wonderful daughter and a great son in law.
  13. Just got the call to schedule my build date

I got a request to send my build in a couple of weeks ago which I did. I will probably hear about ordering maybe next week. I did make a few minor changes. I am excited to finally order. Too long thinking and speculating. I want the metal!
  14. Ford doing everything it can to get us our Broncos?

Kudos to Ford. Makes sense on a lot of levels.
  15. Fuel range concerns with 2 door Sasquatch

I am already thinking about some Rotopax. Not on the side doors though!
  16. Found the Car That I'll be Cancelling My Reservation For

I'll go for the Tesla powered Mr. Nippy ice cream van:)
  17. Is the towing capacity really that bad?

Yeah will just have to see how that goes.
  18. Is the towing capacity really that bad?

Still thinking about my post above about the hitch extension. Now I am adding roof racks and a Yakima large roof basket with the idea of putting the spare tire on the roof if I am carrying a motorcycle using a hitch rack so I can avoid using a hitch extension. Unknown is whether removing the...
  19. Not gonna lie...starting to get cold feet.

I am still on for a Bronco. Contenders are Jeep, Defender, and Bronco. The Bronco still works for me. Not super worried about it being a first year models since the frame is Ranger and the engine is not new. I passed on a Jeep due to a number of factors and the Land Rover is too fancy.
