I always considered the Bronco Sport to not really be a Bronco. To me it is kind of a lost vehicle. Called a Bronco but without the off-road chops. Not surprised to see them discounted and won't be surprised if the disappear after not too long. The real Bronco will be in short supply for awhile...
I am going to have to live with my Bronco for a year to decide. I plan on keeping it long term. Not sure what I would do if I really didn't like it. Next car after the Bronco will be for my wife.
I am fine with the marine grade vinyl in the Badlands. Going with the Lux package. It will be a nice Bronco but it will be getting dirty so no reason to get fancy with the seats. My Crosstrek has leather seats which I have to cover to not ruin them. Also compared to the Crosstrek the dash is...
Being old and already having two other cars, I went 2 door, but flirted with 4 door. I could throw more crap in the back of a 4 door or carry more people comfortably. I live in an urban area with some tight parking garages and also will be heading to some narrow dirt roads, so the much shorter...
I will have a 2 door with a roof rack. The video was useful for me to see that it is easy to at least remove the front panels and throw them in the back. Doubt I will ever remove the back part.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. I am 64 and every day am thankful for how incredibly lucky I have been to have met the love of my life in 1981 and have a beautiful wonderful daughter and a great son in law.
I got a request to send my build in a couple of weeks ago which I did. I will probably hear about ordering maybe next week. I did make a few minor changes. I am excited to finally order. Too long thinking and speculating. I want the metal!
Still thinking about my post above about the hitch extension. Now I am adding roof racks and a Yakima large roof basket with the idea of putting the spare tire on the roof if I am carrying a motorcycle using a hitch rack so I can avoid using a hitch extension. Unknown is whether removing the...
I am still on for a Bronco. Contenders are Jeep, Defender, and Bronco. The Bronco still works for me. Not super worried about it being a first year models since the frame is Ranger and the engine is not new. I passed on a Jeep due to a number of factors and the Land Rover is too fancy.
