  1. Anyone else concerned about getting burned with "first to market" pricing?

No loan for me if I decide to buy a Bronco. Trade in+ cash. Dealers hate cash these days though. If they offered me 0% then maybe I would go for the loan and keep that money invested. I hate loans though.
  2. Anyone else concerned about getting burned with "first to market" pricing?

Always tough to negotiate a discount on a new model with a lot of hype. I have purchased a number of vehicles in that category with zero regrets. I paid a bit more but the enjoyment was more than worth it.
  3. Anybody else getting over the initial hype?

I totally get the original post. I also have a tendency (which drives my wife crazy) to get really excited over new vehicles. Mostly motorcycles but cars too. Since I am recently retired I am trying to control that more:) I think a lot about the pros and cons of my 6 month old Subaru Crosstrek...
  4. What will you first do after delivery?

Drive some areas that are not possible with my Subaru Crosstrek, which is the reason I am planning on getting a Bronco in the first place.
  5. What’s your dealbreaker for new Ford Bronco?

Main deal breaker would be overall price once I option out a 2dr Badlands with tow package, Sasquatch, and Lux package. Just will see if the cost is worth it for me or not. Absolute deal breaker would be the dealership jacking up the price. Right now we are all excited with the new model and all...
  6. Cash Vs Bank

Dealers make most money off of financing and misc fees. Cash is actually worse for them now. That said, I will be trading a vehicle and paying cash for the balance, IF I decide to buy a Bronco after the build and price goes live. I'm looking at a 2DR Badlands with tow, Sasquatch, and Lux...
  7. How is everyone doing?

Into my 8th month of semi- retirement. I was lucky to find a group of seniors who are doing e-mountain biking so am doing some crazy rides in the mountains once a week. Other than that am still riding motorcycles (KTM and Ducati) and going for the occasional spin in the sports car. Looking...
  8. What does your wife think of the new Bronco?

My wonderful wife drives a Lexus RX450h and is not thrilled about the Bronco because it will be replacing our 6 month old Subaru Crosstrek which she thinks is really cute:) The Crosstrek is a great around town car and gets 30mpg, but makes 150hp and does not have the off road chops I need.
  9. Washington State: What dealer are you using?

I reserved with Bill Pierre for no particular reason other than the reservation process paired me with them because they are closest. I read on a forum somewhere that they are not doing a dealer markup, but I have not contacted them myself. I am just waiting for the build and price to go live...
  10. “The Road Chose Me” channel discusses if the Bronco will be good for overlanding

Interesting video. I wish the 2 door Bronco had the bigger fuel tank like the 4 door does. They probably just ran out of room. One of those spare tire extra fuel tanks might be nice but a little more of a design challenge since the backup camera looks out the center of the spare tire. I might...
  11. WA State Check-In

Thanks for that information! I live in Seattle and have a 2 dr Badlands reserved with Bill Pierre. I have never owned a Ford so have zero experience with the local dealerships.
  12. Thoughts on waiting for a 2022 Bronco

I have ordered new models of motorcycles very often and also the new (at the time) 2017 Porsche 911 with the 3 liter flat 6 twin turbo. I have never had any major problems. There are always small issues and the occasional recall but nothing else. The engine on the Bronco is nothing new. Ford...
