Well Jeep will have that electric vehicle, but IMO the tech is just not there for an off road/overland vehicle. If it was I would be all in. For now the best bet seems the gas engine. Easier to carry extra gas than extra batteries for a car. I have a pedal assist mountain bike and that thing...
Got an email from my local sales guy over the weekend informing me of the build and price and asking if I could send my build. Said I could still change before ordering and said ordering would be in December. Nice to know that things are progressing as we thought.
Buying now because I have no issues at all with what I am ordering. I love the MIC roof because scratches will look the same color. It took me about 5 minutes to build and price. Options available later are just that-options that I can add later if I want. For now the build and price has the...
Heard back from Bill Pierre about price. They are selling at MSRP and will honor all the plans "if available and if you qualify", so not sure what that means. Not important to me as I don't qualify for any of those plans. Mainly interested that there is no dealer markup.
I like the new Bronco design and like the engineering. I also like the independent front suspension for better road manners. Doubt I will ever go so extreme that I would suffer from from that. Jeeps have been tempting over the years, but the new Bronco easily pushed me to want to buy one...
Got an email from the Bronco specialist at Bill Pierre in Seattle informing me about the build and price and asking me to send my build and price. He wrote I can change it when I actually order. No mention of anything else at this point. Maybe they are trying to get some idea of serious buyers...
Not interested in sport mode on a Bronco. Just like my Subaru Crosstrek has sport mode and paddle shifters. Talk about useless! Paddle shifters on a 150hp car with a CV transmission?? On the other hand I love sport and sport+ modes on my 911. On that car it makes a big difference and I use...
I hate negotiating. My daughter who is an attorney is a master at it. It would probably be worth it to fly her in just to do the deal:) Harder to negotiate on a new model in high demand for sure. In the end, the money gained or lost to me through negotiating does not make a bit of difference to...
I am going with a 2dr Sasquatched Badlands. The wheelbase on my current Subaru Crosstrek is 104.9-longer than the 2dr Bronco. Was surprised by that. Hoping the IFS keeps the highway handling reasonable. For awhile I had decided to go 4 door for the practicality, but after seeing a 4 door in...
