Had the oem soft top on for just over a week and roughy 1200 miles. Installed the bestop twill and never looked back. Fit and finish is much better, no loud leakings gaps for wind to blow in, no crappy looking windows.
And yes, the bestop doesnt fully retract, it just folds back on itself...
Flipping through the menu screens today on the interstate, I noticed 15.2V while doing 75mph. Yes, we have interstates with that speed limit here in CO.
Get a different smaller dashcam? No issues here with the setup I installed on the wife’s Bronco but I also dont think there is a sensor in the back of the bronco mirror. At least in the BL lux.
My offroad camper setup includes dual lithium 100AH batteries, Redarc Redvision TVMS, Redarc Manager30, 200w solar & backup Honda 2200 generator that runs off propane when on longer trips or expecting crummy weather for more than a few days.
My guess is not too many have had a chance yet to install these on their Broncos. You may be better off poking around on the various jeep forums and doing a quick search.
Maybe I missed something in this thread regarding the guys havibg issues with their smooth but my AR smooth rail and 67 design ball mounts work fine. I ordered 2 of them along with arms and various device mounts. Only mod I had to make was pick up longer bolts from Ace.
Which is why my wife took the opportunity to get her bronco w/ a soft top early and have me swap it out for the bestop. Oem top was on for less than a week.
Have you seen the MIC tops? I wouldn't brag about them being much better with their issues and why we chose to not wait it out for a mic...
That winch is a beast and reliable but Id be hesitant of blocking the engine cooling. I recall somewhere a pic showing blocking of grill areas from best to worst.
Not sure what the difference is between the liberty and tow pro elite modules, but i installed the elite and most time consuming piece is removing the floor center bezel for the wiring.
Technically both sets of usbs are below the windshield lol. The ones up top by the windshield only charge devices and are not sync/carplay/media etc capable. Are you saying devices will not charge?
Never taken my jeep through an automatic or touchless carwash in 8 yrs and not planning to with the wife’s Bronco either. Only one that does is my giant truck because its too dang big to wash by hand multiple times a week.
I take the jeep & bronco to the self service bays and wash myself to...
No. But if you do, hopefully you ordered the factory tow package for the 7pin. You would also have to have a WDH setup. And even though you can install the class III it still just bolts to the rear crossmember like the factory one does rather than the side rails of the frame.
