Supposedly the online ordering system is only for people who never converted their reservation to an order. The online order tool is supposed to allow them to do that and submit it electronically to their dealership.
Huh? I was saying the opposite. Flags on a military uniform always face forward, for the reason others stated here. I've never met anyone who served who was confused as to why the flag on their right shoulder faced forward. Some Police departments and security companies put flags on their...
Looks good. At least you did it right and both of the fender flags are forward-facing. Can't stand when I see flag decals or uniform shoulder patches facing the wrong way.
It's definitely a mess. I was concerned that so many people switching to Granger, Stephens, Chapman, etc would result in a long wait, but that was before Ford pulled this latest BS. I feel bad for those who did. Maybe that article will generate some sympathy and Ford will reverse the decision...
It's completely relevant because it's the last maneuver a buyer has when they've exhausted all options with their current dealer. You should add it to the end of the list.
FYI, for anyone ordering parts or accessories - I found a dealership in FL (Gary Smith Ford) with great prices, cheap shipping and a coupon for further discount on the parts. Most online parts dealers only offer discounts on shipping. The woman who called me to confirm one of the parts was...
I will be running 93, but that's only because 93 at Costco is cheaper than 87 everywhere else. If the gas prices keep going up, I'll have to use 87, which is still under $3 a gallon at Costco.
Exactly. Hopefully it will be a true transfer, giving buyers the power to negotiate or walk. Thankfully, I got a VIN the last round of scheduling but fingers crossed for those getting a 2022.
That's the real question. Hopefully Ford allows REAL transfers, as opposed to creating new reservations with retroactive timestamps to match your original one, as this will allow the old dealer to keep your original Bronco order. Several people on the forum had this done for reservations that...
@PowPow I see what you're getting at but I'm not sure the dealerships "promised" anything. The good dealerships have tried to provide as much transparency as possible but this whole process has been rather opaque from the jump.
Good post. Hope they don't take it down. I agree there is no hard evidence it was done for the big dealerships but we do know they hold some sway with Ford. We also know that Mike Levine made a public uneducated and snide comment about Granger, which may be indicative of Ford's overall view of...
Here you go. Unfortunately it doesn't include the door sill coverage that was shown early on.
