What were your thoughts seeing it in person? Looks like a cloudy day. I can clearly see it's blue in the pic, although dark and does appear sorta purple. Did it appear more blue than black? Please tell me it didn't look purple at all..
You can just manually put it in 2H after selecting Baja for improved surfaces. You just wanna be going slow with your foot off the accelerator and wait for it to shift. Basically the same as Sport mode.
I'm torn between 33s and Sasquatch on BL and if I go 33s, 4.46 gears or 4.7? I don't wanna get 33s and regret not getting Squatch later but also not sure what to expect with 35s and I'm getting mixed information on how easy it would be to go down to 33s later. Driven plenty of humvees and FMTVs...
It would be easy enough to put 33s on a Squatched Bronco if the 35s didn't perform as desired, right? What would have to be done in terms of calibration? Forgive my ignorance when it comes to things like this. Never been off-roading before but looking forward to it.
Not sure if anyone knows the specific numbers but we've heard from numerous sources that Squatching a Bronco adds some lift. This is evidenced by looking at the Overland concept Bronco. It has 35s without Sasquatch and there is clearly less space in between the tire and wheel well. Yes, the...
Yeah, I'm tracking. I noticed that on day 1 when I was building but again, my point is that the high package says sound deadening is included. Guess this is a question for the BN interns.
Not as a stand-alone option but it is listed as part of the high package, which is available on Badlands. Guess we need confirmation to be sure but if it's not included they should remove it from the high package description and drop the price.
Sound deadening is included in the high package on Badlands. If the vinyl seats were optional on OBX, I would go that route with Sasquatch instead of a stock BL, since the body-colored mirrors and door handles look much nicer.
Area 51 actually looks really good with the grey top. Those who saw it in person on the Overland concept said it was barely noticeable and didn't clash. I'm probably just gonna get AMB with the MIC. If it looks terrible, I'll figure out a way to paint it black.
It's a Wildtrak with soft top and optional running board. See the all the black Squatch wheels? Looks good except that rear plastic bumper looks like ass.
Off topic here, but if anyone in this group is getting a 4 door OBX or WT and wants to trade their tube step for rock rails from a BL (which are more expensive), let me know. Just posting it here since most of us are somewhat close in distance.
Doubtful. If so, it will be very expensive and you would have to replace part of the dashboard in order to fit a bigger screen. If the dash is all one piece, that would make it even more cost prohibitive. Probably void the warranty too.
