@Administrator I updated the thread title, so now the news post title no longer matches. Sorry about that, but figured I'd give you a heads up in case it matters or should be adjusted.
Now that I've got it on there and am paying close attention, have you guys had any issues in the rain? I'm failing to see how it doesn't take big gulps of water in heavy rain. Can't find drain holes in the head portion. Pretty tempted to just go ahead and flip the plates.
@friethmiller @FreddieLee
Definitely not a scuba diver. Just some added protection for all the nonsense I've been and will be getting into. Thanks much for the congrats! It feels good to make some progress.
Yeah they knocked it out by the time I was back from lunch. 4 hours of labor, so $480. A big chunk of change, but certainly less than it could have been if it took longer.
@friethmiller Well I am wondering about the seal between that cover piece and the snorkel body that is against the fender there. That little cover piece just snaps on there and doesn't seem to seal well on its own. I'm tempted to use some black RTV silicone to help close it. What's that like...
Got the snorkel installed on my Badlands today and then immediately had my first ever Everglades sighting. Wild coincidence. In any case, I wanted to pop in here and say thank you so much for y'all's help and encouragement. 😄
Got it installed today! Check the top of the thread for more pics and comments.
I'm curious about the connection/seal between this outside cover piece and the snorkel by the fender there. That cover just pops on there, and that has me wondering if the Everglades uses anything (maybe some...
Usually i would agree but in the case of the relocation bracket and washer fluid reservoir I'm gonna wait until I know I need them. Easy enough to overnight them if necessary, and Ford's pricing on that is surprisingly cheap.
I've got my Minco shop appointment Monday, and I'm gettin' nervous! Really hoping things go smoothly with the snorkel, but I'm sure there will be some hiccups with it being the first run of this. Posting for good luck and photo shares.
Ok gotcha. That makes sense. I talked with my local parts dude, and he was able to see the same things you described. Sounds like both of them are fairly pricey, so I'm going to see if I can get by without them. Fantastic to know I've finally got those part numbers on hand though. Thank you...
@flip Maybe I should hit up my local parts dealer to check on ordering those two. Not getting any search results on the customer-facing parts site:

But also if the washer fluid reservoir is $218.33, maybe I will just zip tie a milk jug in my engine bay...
Excellent info! Thanks a million for every bit of it. Couple followups...
The engineering part number stamped on Everglades' owners bracket seems to be either NB3G-16F130-BA or NB3G-16F13J-BA. Those have been dead ends for me, but you may have some helpful guidance that corrects that. 🤞...
Dig it. @flip let me know if you have any ideas regarding what I posted here: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/everglades-snorkel-parts-arrived-install-started-on-badlands-bronco.69930/page-4#post-1890706
I've been unable to correctly identify an Everglades-specific driveline control...
