I think that certain data would be tough to obtain...I don't know of any rack failures personally from anyone who wheels their Bronco in stock form and who doesn't do anything that the Bronco really shouldn't be doing. When you push anything past it's intended limit, like running 40s and...
I have never bought anything from BB...even though he might be somewhat of a pioneer in figuring out what breaks Broncos, and he might make some stuff that actually works, the video that he put out trying to paint anybody who doesn't buy his product as un-American and contributing to "circling...
If he charges over 300 for one delrin bushing and 1200 for a part of a housing, and 400 dollars for braces, I can't fathom that his version of an entire rack will be any cheaper (or stronger) than the 74weld rack that is already available for 5k.
Agreed! RC bushings are made in USA (Tennessee, I believe...unless RC is falsely advertising) and Delrin is made primarily outside the US...and all of us (BB included) are using parts made outside the USA every day for all kinds of things (computer chips/cell phones/LEDs/automobiles in general)...

The $350 lobe one is the driver side correct? Oddly enough on the driver side because of that ridge that the snap ring sits against the bushing will never fit tight for its full circumference in the rack. The passenger side, however, even after it clears the ridge and doesn't touch the...
Did you do your own install? I assume the passenger side bolt goes to the existing ball stud threaded hole but where does the driver side long bolt go? Is there already a hole or do you have to drill one?
Nice looking rig! Especially the grille... I recently painted my letters silver to match my fender emblems instead of the red but the red looks great on your combination.
Oops sorry I was talking specifically about the tailgate limiter not the reinforcement plate...for plates I already tried the RC, the BAMF, the RTR, and the Hammer Built.
I really like that thing but I don't think my bumper will clear the damper if it puts the ball stud flush with the bottom lip of the tailgate...that is what it appears to do, yes?
Especially when the clamps cost less than a dollar each...way less. Oddly enough, my passenger side clamp was missing from the factory...there was an indentation where a clamp once was, but I suspect maybe they put it together and then had to do some final adjustment of some sort and then never...
I checked and my bushing is indeed all the way in (I pulled the snap ring out and checked and when I put the snap ring back in and pushed it gently from all around the circumference it popped into place without having to reposition the bushing) and due to the circumference of the raised area of...
No over analysis needed...for those who are interested I can confirm that the McMaster-Carr clamps are Oetiker exact replacements. I just received them and here's a comparison:
@flip indicated that Ford doesn't sell the clamps by themselves...they are included only in the bellows kits. It is...
I wonder if I have a different boot? I measured mine and it was just over 7 mm from edge to edge of the channel... I'm happy with the McMaster-Carr clamp because it is the exact same range of clamping as our OEM one and is the exact same width and a pack of 10 is about seven bucks...so in my...
