  1. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

Congrats. That was a loooong slog. Glad you finally got her.
  2. Crease above glove box

If one were to look really closely you could probably make out something. You'd have to be looking for it though.
  3. Crease above glove box

They weaken the plastic in specific spots to allow for airbag deployment, but it should not be visible. That looks like a defect.

  5. Bronco Plug and play 1150W RMS amp replacement kit for B&O back in stock!

I had modified the factory sub and installed a JL Audio 8w3v3. That driver is specified for 250W RMS. Heavily damped the enclosure. It has a nice punch to it. The boomy peak that occurred stock is reduced but it still required a bit of tuning with the DSP to level it out. If interested...

  8. Best way to remove scratches from the cheap plastic interior?

FORD TSB: Improper trimming of finger nails can lead to interior damage. Customers should be informed to trim their nails, cut their hair, wear a mask, and to take precautions when around vehicle surfaces containing plastic. For on-going protection, do not attempt to look at the plastic. Wear...
  9. Amp power route

I believe that I'd seen a grommet but it may be just as sensible to route it from left to right under/along the dash stuff to the drivers side grommet. The battery is on that side anyhow.
  10. How did I do, New Bronco Purchased!

My 2-cents is to wait until you have your Bronco in-hand prior to spending on accessories / upgrades. Unless there's a really good deal :) I had mine for a couple of months and changed my mind on just about everything I was thinking. Oh, I don't need that. Well, that's going to add a lot of...
  11. Planning my Audio Upgrade, does it make sense?

Hi @gringoloco, I did end-up placing a small bead of black colored plastic compatible epoxy around the entire circumference of the grill as opposed to a couple of spots. Prepped and lightly scuffed up the plastic a bit for adhesion. With small dots, there was some resonance experienced at...
  12. Rust prevention in winter climates

Another option to consider is cosmoline on the underbody. Maybe also for the box frame rails. It is relatively thick and may not self flow into pinch seams or tight locations. A less viscous cavity wax could be more appropriate for some areas. In essence, these are waxes in a solvent that will...
  13. B&O sound system complete upgrade - Done ✅

They are not sealed. There is also a cutout directly below each speaker that has a loose and thin foamed plastic plug. Probably acts like a passive radiator. You could probably seal the kick panels with the judicious application of CLD.
  14. Unpopular Opinion: B&O is Great (Go ahead and Roast Me)

I have a mid-23 with the updated amplifier. I agree, it sounded good. Though, it remained a distance from sounding great. I had this debate myself. Coming from an old early 2K Tahoe, this system sounded fine and a definite improvement. It's good enough, I could live with this, I don't really...
  15. Fake sub/amp...Now what?

Take a look into this, as well: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/bronco-plug-and-play-1150w-rms-amp-replacement-kit-for-b-o-back-in-stock.79680/ For those with the DSP/sub and harnessing, it is not 100% plug and play but it's close. There is a t-harness at the ACM for the center channel...
