I have been all over this 45k number
Get a low model and load it up or fall in the middle and get something that lacks one or 2 things
For today it's a 2dr Badlands 2.7 , mid , 4.7 gears , mid package for just under 47k
Hope to shave some off with plan pricing and really hope to be under 50...
Had a 650 xr .......did you know they necked down the boot between the carb and intake from honda ?
Went up like 5 main jet sizes and that thing kicked my butt off repeatedly , stupid torque
Our prints for machine parts now come with metric dimension except some still use English for radius callouts
And every now and then they just toss either type anywhere for no apparent reason
This will be something to watch vendors come out with .
Personally a wide body fender look might be the ticket
2 dr for sure that rear door would take some work
Can I get those coil overs that they show at 11:56 ?
Wouldn't trust the stance of that truck
Good video all around tho ......still can't wait to get mine in the driveway
I do wonder about ride quality , if you watch the videos from the reveal the 2dr sure bucks more than the 4dr
In the end it's a personal choice and my 79 worked just fine although that pass. seat flipping forward would have been nice to have carried over
I just want the 210 front diff not the wheels/tires or coil overs that comes with the SAS
Will do the rest after market but it sounds like the 190 has a welded ring gear so no bueno on just sticking a locker in
A rear sway bar kit would go a long way to increase the rating so hopefully the aftermarket comes out with some fixes.
Dont know how you would certify any improvements to satisfy DOT tho
Well this is what I get for reading comments , hadn't even looked at the BB not once.
That MGV sounds good and it's what my SxS has but for long trips and hot days with the top off the cloth wins for me.
Kinda digging the brown interior option and still get the rear locker 4.27 without buying...
I can't help but think the high clearance bilstein"s will hit the resale market pretty soon
If the after market gets on lift kits and general suspension mods then those stockers get even cheaper for takeoffs
Definitely getting the 2.7 and that rear locker of the BD means I don't have to lay on...
Charky is spot on don't blindly trust the guy under your ride to put the right filter on or even leave your old filter on
And I'll take a cheap blend changed at 5k over leaving the best in for 10k
Lot of good workmanship on that rig , wouldn't have gone that way but nice sheet metal work
Had a 79 that I stuck a 71 lincoln 460 in .......should of never sold that one
Guess what 5 of these 6 have in common?
I'm not 100% positive all years and models but they all show the rear sway bar and the wrangler pages talk about a stiffer setup helping the wobble
Who knows why ford went this direction but why aren't the tow ratings different for the bilstein high...
