This feature is stock in most BMWs since at least 2015. They have it going along the dash and doors; tastefully hidden so you don't see the actual lighting tubes in daylight. If this install can be as stealthily installed as the BMW, its a nice feature.... Comes on when the doors are opened and...
LOL I can relate. I bought parts thinking I would be installing them within 30 or so days.... over a year ago...
I'm at 827 days and no vehicle....
If the 4Runner doors and roof came off and my gender was allowed to actually own one, i would so be there.
826 days since original down payment/order placed
87 days since built. Not sure how many of those days were "chip hold" days.
Tracker Status: Still Awaiting shipping...
Ford Chat conversation:
- Ford: "Sir, your vehicle has been released".
- Me: What does "released" mean?
- Ford...
IMHO, there is no appeal. When I see it, I assume:
1) They live in the hood and don't want their tire stolen...OR
2) They live in the hood and their tire was stolen....
Treasurydirect.gov post the auction schedule and expected rates. The long term schedule is posted weeks in advance. The expected rates are posted a few days before the actual auction. I say expected because they only estimate before the actual auction. The 26 wk TBill I posted about Sunday...
TBill pays 4.4% for 26 week term. Auction (non competitive on new issue) is tomorrow at TreasuryDriect.gov. (Or buy from your favorite broker. No commission on TBills via Fidelity, Vanguards, Schwab, et al)
You're only locked in for 6 months. Then, you can spend it or roll it over or choose a...
Saw this the other day on YT and immediately did three things:
1) Threw away my china made hitch receiver recovery point. (it was only rated at 10k....) Which one would think would be fine pulling a 5k truck out, but that 5k is NOT the key metric... as the video explains.
2) I sent this video...
Backlog is building again. I can only imagine it due to more of the Lux vehicles going on chip hold.
Putting on my rose colored glasses: Might be good to have the vehicle on hold at MAP as opposed to some ghetto town sitting on an idled train for the duration of the walk-out/strike.
Wanted...
I'm 47 days post-build date.... and nothing... still don't have vehicle and it hasn't exited "in-production" status.
Build is similar but basically the same (Badlands, Sas, 2.7, tow, lux)
My understanding is they are short microprocessors for something in that build combination.
Doing some...
As many have said: active lifestyle.
Open water swimmer? Cyclist? Mountain bike rider? Runner? These are all, wear less, go fast activities....
Also, there are times where you need someone to pickup a vehicle you left at the airport or a flipflop hiking adventure where someone picks up the...
I assume I'm chip hold also. Lux, tow, et al... 8/1 build and still 'in-production'...
I have noticed the backlog has gone down 100 vehicles in 5 days.... I'm hoping something happens in the next week or so... We shall see...
I'm convinced these guys are working on their in-production backlog.
Its consistently going down (albeit slowly): 817 Tuesday, 786 Thursday, 774 just now....
Don't have much experience with these engines other than in a "crate' configuration, it will not produce much more torque than the stock BRaptor; however, these Coyotes can be tuned to hit 1,000 HP... and tranny twisting torque numbers....
Plus, there is no better engine sound than a small...
For those stuck "in production"... I've noticed something in the tracker app.
I've watched a field called "similar vehicles in status" consistently climb since my 8/1 blend date....Everyday, it went up.
The lowest i can recall is in the 400's in early August. Yesterday, it was 817, this morning...
