For what its worth.... I knew the vehicle was off the train and actually en route to my dealer, from the rail depot, when the radio button for "Shipped" actually changed to a checkmark. This is via the infamous backdoor tracker. I never had rail car information... Only relied on the backdoor...
875 day journey finally reached its destination. My Badlands arrived today!
Leaving this group... bittersweet...See you guys on the countless "upgrades" forums!
You might want to get on the phone and release your inner "Beth Dutton" on them. Someone has to know the whereabouts of your vehicle. Worst you will end up with is some complimentary FORD incentives....
Curious. Have you looked at the backdoor tracker link recently? Does it still have a target date range? And does the "shipped" bullet at the top have a green checkmark in it?
For me, this week was my target delivery date. (Albeit, its been a moving target for 4 months...)That date disappeared...
Hit by schedule creep yet again....
Target delivery date updated late yesterday in the backdoor tracker and added two days... Target now is Tuesday.
Last report from (Found Off-Raad Dead), aka FORD, was that it was in Atlanta (Lawenceburg). This means the train actually carried it past me...
I'm gonna go doorless on front and these tubes on back (secondary hold for the dog)
$299 is a great price.
Black Rifle Coffee sent me a couple black jolly roger stickers (original jolly roger with skeleton holding spear pointing at hearts) in my last order that I'll put over the Mabett logos...
A couple of YT content creators that are die-hard Jeepers (that were unable to secure sponsorship from Ford) took shots at the Bronco. The softtop being one of them. When called out in the comments of their YT videos that they incorrectly raised the top, they didn't have a good answer and...
still no word on delivery, but I got a new target date range.....
This is like when Woody, on "Cheers" (for you old fucks) , asked for a raise and got a title instead.... he was happy with that result. Me, not so much...
Got my baby pic today too. My build date was 8/1/22. I imagine the pic is from that timeframe... I was notified "in transit" a week ago.... Not sure what to make of this: Get my hopes up for a delivery or just another let-down and wait...
This is excellent information. Thanks for sharing.
Somewhat related: I had to replace my ABS controller in my Explorer. The part, new with install from authorized Ford dealer service was crazy expensive. Thus, I pulled an ABS module from a junker and installed it myself. Everything began...
Sucks. I hate to see that.
Hopefully your policy has "complete replacement" or "new car replacement" on your coverage. if so, your insurance will get you a new vehicle match. Then you can negotiate for the salvage vehicle and build up a killer off roader and have two Broncos in the stall.
Congrats!!!
Ever heard, "possession is 9/10ths"???? In Ford's case its 100%. You don't have it until you have it....
I'm in the same situation. my tracker moved to "in transit" today. Just like you, I logged in for my daily dose of disappointment... and it was a nice surprise. Although mine...
Great pair!
With the tread title I was expecting to see an actual dream Bronco garage with mechanical hard top lift, wall mounted door holders, wall mounted recovery gear (traction boards), shelves lined with overlanding gear, and of coarse a killer tool box ensemble...
