When coming to a stop light with no cars in front, I downshift all gears but 1st. If there are cars waiting at a light and every stop sign, I will take it out of gear and let out the clutch and use the brakes only.

I don't think anyone will say new safety features make a car less safe but I dare you to day that driver aids don't make more distracted drivers and that is a real problem on the road. Treat distracted drivers like drunk drivers and we can get somewhere.

I have been itching for another manual since my last one went down to a distracted driver. It is a fine line between driver aid and driver excuse.

I would rather play the "When will Ford provide a build estimate to all reservation holders" game. I say July 31.

As is always the case with partial information: 2 Door Badlands Manual with Trailer hitch, 7/14 early AM reservation. 1 to 3 of 4 depending on if the 2 Door MIC and the Badlands suspension are part of Hard Top and Sasquatch shortages.

Sadly they are making it back from people like me. 42% of all orders are Badlands right?

It is not that the dealer can't tell you, it is that they won't tell you so you don't jump ship.

Ford did this to itself, they promised consumers and then backtracked to keep their dealers happy. I also have a 7/14 AM reservation and from what I saw, I am middle of the pack in the list at my dealer. I did not get the "Congratulations, jump to the front of the line!" email and I don't know...

I feel the Manual/Badlands/Mid Package is more offensive than the 2.3L and no 2.7L combination. It happens I was already planning a 2.3L Manual Badlands before either combination issue became known so I was not directly affected. It did put and end to any ideas of a Manquatch Black Diamond...
