@redone17 that photo was taken right when I got home from the shop. Truck was sitting at a weird angle. I thought something similar and measured it when I moved it into the garage. The front was ~.25" lower than the back. I just measured this morning again after driving a couple hundred miles...
@Big Diamond I bought the RC brake light relocation kit and installed it before the tires went on. Based on some other's on here it may fit. the soft top rubs on it when all the way down with the relocation kit. Come spring I will take the relocation kit off and see if the tire fits to keep...
@redone17 Nice set up. Those should bolt right up and work for you. From an ease of installation would recommend getting the studs pressed out of the front shocks and use bolts instead.
@redone17 I didnt see any issues on the trails. The crawl gear is so low, even with the 35's you really creep in 4L if you need to. When I went down the hill in 4L with the Crawl gear, I did not need to use the brakes at all.
@redone17 I would think badlands to BD springs should be pretty dang close to be able to run them.
When it comes to installing them the only thing that is different from the Hitachi's and the Bilsteins are the Shock, Springs and bumper. The other parts are all shared between the 2 styles...
Got the front shocks and springs installed today. Brought the front up nicely. Havent had much time to ride around but Initial impressions are similar ride under normal conditions.
It ended up being a reasonable investment. I am about $1500 ($1200 parts and shipping, $300 shop) in with the shop...
I do not have any picture handy but had this happen to me as well. There is a stop that the top rests against when in the all the way back position. On the drivers side it is pulled tight against this. on the passenger side there is a little slop that causes some rattling. I put a small...
I used axle straps front and back when I picked it up. LCA up front and axle in the back. I prefer to strap through the tire but that isn't an option on the BD.
@Bigmoose Perch came on it and the top hat swapped over and fit nice. Only thing that potentially could matter is the bumper/shock guard. The Hitachi one works. I just don't know if it limits suspensions travel or allows too much as I don't have the dimensions of the sasquatch one and I...
@Bigmoose I got the springs and shocks. And I got the rears installed. Went pretty smooth. I used the bumper/dust guard from the Hitachi and it will get the job done. The Bilstein must have a slightly smaller diameter shock shaft as the bumper isn't quite as snug on it.
Overall the shocks...
@Big Diamond That photo was of the stock suspension. I have sasquatch shocks and springs on order to give it a little bit of lift.
So far I have ~3,000 miles on the tires including a 2500 mile trip to Colorado and back. The tires are still pretty quite and handle good on the road. I have...
@Mike_M I did not have to drill the bumper. But i did have to drill the mount as the holes were not spaced how I needed them. So far its been good. I think it will serve its purpose well until I get a winch. Then I am not sure what I will do. I put a link to what I ordered. Its the only...
@sledboy Did you order the entry pad with your Bronco or separate from Ford as an accessory? This would be great to hear and I would get one on order quickly for myself.
@Bmerrion1391 I have not been able to test full flex and lock yet. But I have done some traversing of a ditch that is ~16 degrees on one side and 7 on the other. Come together fairly close. Have do that at many different angles to the point I am teetering on 2 or 3 wheels and I have not...
@ric42pars I agree on the stock Grabbers. After I picked it up I decided I wasn't going to change tires until they wore out but then...
My dad saw it and said " I am going to put tires like that on my truck before winter" since that is the same size tire he needed for his F150 I took it as a...
@ric42pars it ended up being alot of time in the car, but the Bronco was surprisingly comfortable. It did get loud with the soft top being on the interstate for 10 hours. This was our first long trip with a soft top to try it out. I will probably throw it on the car trailer next time or if the...
