cant say I have any strong opinions about the cluster... whats so bad about it?
Mind you, I have the 10 speed, I dont really give a hoot about the tach... but in any manual car Ive owned, I stop looking at the tach about 2 weeks in anyway. just sort of learn the sound of the engine and know...
I went lux for ACC and B&O personally.
but for High, the 360 camera is nice. its a relatively big car, and tall, so gauging distance in the front is a bit of a guess, the parking sensors and front camera remove the guess work completely. The side ones... not really meaningful to me.
The...
I havent really documented when it shows up or not, but I know I hear a popping sound, I think from the front dash speakers. Only seems to be on some radio stations (digital HD signals I think), and not at all on other sources, so Im pretty sure its not the speakers themselves.
It makes the...
Ive had doors and fronts off, havent touched the clamshell yet... Its not the best look, but it is the most functional solution if you need the car to work rain or shine without a 10minute delay.
how do you all apply the tire shine?
I have VRP and a foam pad applicator (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B017W5JRSG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1), but the tires are so "knobby" that its just about impossible to get it into the crevices... yes I am OCD.
A spray might...
Ive gotten caught out in the rain without the roof twice now. I try to drive fast, but it still gets wet.
I dry them later and I cant see any impact... but yeah, yours look quite puffy. Id have the doors open and let them air out with a fan for sure. hope they dry out ok.
well, it would bother me a bit, so I understand your concern.
Not much you can do.
Mine had like 5 miles on it when I took possession, it was delivered in michigan though, so it was probably driven directly onto a trailer from the plant and dropped off, no trains, no rail yards.
I didnt really notice when it stopped working... but now everytime I stop I just get the little gray with a slash icon on the dash indicating that auto stop start is not available.
I initially thought it might be because it was hot, but today I was driving with the AC off and it was 70 degrees...
At some point Ill take it back in to ford. I still get the error on probably half my startups at this point.
turning the car off and back on "fixes" it.
its a hopeful sign, but most of the issues come down to time. delays along the way of development all get absorbed into the prebuild timing. Or budget lacking enough test units to test everything in the shrinking window of time, or not enough time to resolve redesigns on long lead time tools...
I took the trailer home empty, I knew I had to detach it so I could load the uhaul itself, I didnt want the car on there when I had to unhitch it.
they had no issue with me using my own straps, but they wouldnt set it up for me or inspect it. I just strapped the rear axle to the cross member...
I didnt attempt to use the nets, the website said they wouldn't fit oversized tires and I couldnt wait to find out the day of the move and be SOL if the answer was no, so I ordered tie downs ahead of time.
I just used those and never tried to even see if the nets would have fit or not.
couldnt we apply some sort of film? not sure if a clear bra type thing is the right choice, but almost anything would likely absorb enough of the impact to prevent that ceramic on glass contact.
