Thank you! It's just the @Mabett two door rear mat covering the bare front portion of the floor, lol.
Air compressor is under the hood using the KR Offroad bracket. Trying to keep weight down on the tailgate, and under the hood has worked really well.
Edit: I have the AAL Ford Bronco...
Will do. Gonna replace the 1/0 wire going to the rear with 2/0 this weekend, which will give me the opportunity to finalize things and figure out how to get it all back together, lol
Yeah, just a fitment issue.
AAL has been horrible at providing instructions. Frustrating, but I have always enjoyed puzzles, lol.
I'm going to paint the steel portions a combination of black and Active Orange. Not going to bother with powder coating. Going to keep the aluminum parts bare.
Hope it worked out for you. I ended up compressing it with zip ties before I installed it. Made life easier.
I've gone rock crawling and been to a high-speed off-road track a number of times since I have installed it. Has been great in both scenarios. Also a nice improvement during my daily...
The 5.38 was mentioned in a 74Weld portal thread today. Someone ordered it for a great price, but is guessing the order will be cancelled by the seller. Maybe it was @Snacktime?
I gave 6th gear another chance Saturday...was trying to keep my RPM's low while nursing a cracked valve...
Is the factory GM one also a mirror or is it just a display? If both, I wonder what they did differently to prevent this issue?
Not sure if it's possible but maybe there is a film you can put on the glass to negate the reflection in the mirror?
If you haven't yet, connect the multimeter to the always on 12v and place it somewhere you can see it from outside the Bronco. Close and lock the doors, wait 30 minutes. Then, without unlocking or opening the doors, check the meter to make certain that wire is still providing at least 12v...
Make certain you are using both fuse taps and have them in the correct locations. One is an always on 12v that keeps settings and allows for recording when the mirror detects a disturbance.
Is this "aluminum tub" thing a new rumor that I missed. Many of the exterior panels are aluminum, however, the structural parts of the Bronco have always been steel.
I read that the resistor for the buckle doesn't work consistently, so I just have mine tucked under the floor. For the reels I used a 2.4 Ohm resistor. I believe anything rated 2.0-2.7 Ohms will work.
2 Door Bronco MASS Plus Platform - American Adventure Lab
Quick write up here. The front portion of their 2-door kit is supposed to be released this weekend.
Hard to imagine that Ford would not match springs to the vehicle's weight as they did with the rest of the product line.
OP, you will likely have to replace the springs with a set spec'd for the 4-door.
