Geez. I'm gonna hang on to my 2 door 2022 Bronco Base Sasquatch with 2.7 V6 then. I love driving it around town. It's not as stable as vehicles with longer wheel bases on the highway. I was going to sell it or trade it for a pick up, not anymore now. Feeling real good reserving/ordering a...
it seems like something is wrong- maybe a brake dust brake shield deformed rubbing on the rotor or something like that. Damage from transit maybe. I would ask them to get it fixed and re-test drive it after. If they won't, find another one and test drive that one.
Awesome! I agree that the new cars of today are...meh....most of them anyway- especially the SUV's- you said they all look the same is so true. At least the Bronco looks so different. I turn my head every time I see one. I loved VW's back the day. I loved my 83 GTI- one of my favorite cars...
My 2022 has a couple of imperfections- if I look real close. But overall it's been pretty good and I love it for what it is.
As far as VW goes I got a bad one- bought a 2023 GTI Autobahn brand new- 6 speed manual. 5th gear had a notch- sometimes would not go in- drove me nuts. And such poor...
Even back in 2022 I had to dish out everything I had to afford the 38K for my Basesquatch. It was the most I ever paid for a vehicle. I traded in a 2019 Silverado for it and dished out the cash difference. I could not have afforded it if it were any more. I don't know how you all afford 40...
Is this something the dealer has to do or is it an easy fix I could do? Mine has done this a couple of times and it seems I have to slam the hood for it not to trigger. I'm reluctant to bring it in for this as it is not consistent and can't be easily demonstrated.
I like the picture of yours with the kayaks on top. This is what I considered to do with the Bronco and haul small trailer for our travel trips up north for 2-3 months out of the year. How is it for wind drag with the kayaks up there? I am concerned the Bronco won't move or get horrendous gas...
I have a base 22 Sasquatch 2 door with the 2.7 that I reserved and paid 38K. What a super deal for the time. And it has cloth seats too. Garaged, very light use, sits most of the time only 12K miles. Was supposed to be my retirement vehicle but we are going to travel and we need a pick up. I...
I went with MBRP dual- aluminized. I got a Black Friday deal last year and got it for 445. Not sure what the pricing is these days. Nice system for the money - 3" with 2.5" duals, nice SST clamps and 4" chrome tips. Super easy install. I had to paint the welded areas to prevent rust. But...
I don't have the AWE but have MBRP Aluminized CAT back duals. I love the sound very much but the performance gains are not worth it in my opinion. It would be Soley for sound. I did not pay much for my system in comparison and for sure would not pay more than 500 for any system.
I love my 2022 Bronco Sas and it is awesome for light 4 wheeling, cruising down dirt roads. It is also awesome on the road driving- excellent handling, fun to drive and it accelerates well. For HD 4 wheeling I prefer the Jeeps due to the solid front axle. You can upgrade the Broncos a lot but...
Oh boy those look awful. I stated it in another post, it seems they missed priming before they applied the finish coat of paint. I have painted a lot of auto parts and if you don't use good primer base, this is what happens.
If you can add spacers to the front of the seat and tilt the entire seat, it may very well add comfort. Sometimes just a 1/4" or 1/2" spacers can make a huge difference for comfort- adding thigh support on top of the recline. I know as I have done this on many front seats of cars that I have...
I would also not go from a newer Bronco to an older Bronco. 21 was first model year and there are a few more possible issues, the engine recall being one of them.
I love reading about everyone's off road adventures. Back in the 70's and 80's I had mine- when I made a whole lot more money and things were (I think) so much better. Unfortunately today I work a lot more hours for so much less money and my off road adventures will consist of a remote cabin...
I use Rock Auto all the time- I buy a lot of parts from them. I rarely have any issues- you just need to know what you are ordering and read the descriptions and codes very carefully to assure you are ordering the right part. I have had only 2 returns in like 10 or more years and thousands of...
I drive like this a lot in my 2 door. With the front windows down 1/2 way or more, there is quite a bit of wind turbulence in the cabin if the back window is closed. With the back window propped open and a bungee in place it works perfect for a nice flow through breeze. I use a slightly...
Another thing to consider is telescoping steering and how much telescoping there is. I have super long legs and some vehicles (Toyota Tacoma is one) that do not offer enough telescoping steering. I can get the seat where I need it but the steering wheel is too far away- even at maximum...
