  1. Anyone order a Stroppe?

Wow awesome, unlimited fun. If I could only afford one of those and to drive to work in and not hold up the traffic like I do in my underpowered 4 cylinder Colorado, LOL!
  2. K&N Cold Air Intake Installed – Ford Bronco Badlands 2.7L, Model 2024 – Photos & Sound Clip

Ya that! I do the same in mine, radio is off, back window open just to hear the dual CAT back. Wife thinks I'm crazy. She does not like the sound of the V6. I admit her truck- 2013 Silverado, 4.8 V8 with dual MBRB straight out the back sounds way better. I drive that with the radio off to...
  3. Anyone order a Stroppe?

I feel I already have one at half the price. My Base 2022 2 door Sas has the 2.7 and I have dual CAT back exhaust for the throaty sound. I would never, ever pay what they are asking for a Stroppe. I paid 38K for mine and thought that was so expensive as it is. If I'm going to spend that kind...
  4. K&N Cold Air Intake Installed – Ford Bronco Badlands 2.7L, Model 2024 – Photos & Sound Clip

Nice! I am a fan of cold air intakes and also CAT back exhausts- only if it is justified in performance and MPG. I have installed a few on a few vehicles over the years and most have had a benefit and I did gain power and a few MPG. I would never gain enough to justify the cost though but a...
  5. New 2025 base

I saw a base 2 door with the pizza cutters and steelies at the local Walmart this past weekend. While I do love my base Sas 2 door, the base with the steelies looked really cool and really reminds of the Gen 1 Bronco. And with little tire drag, 7 speed manual it must be a hoot to drive. And...
  6. Death Wobble on the news

Out of balance/out of round tires, bent rims, poor alignment are all along with worn steering parts causes the death wobble. I have had numerous Jeep TJ Wranglers and none of them had it- they drove and handled pretty good. The worst was wind drag on the highway, no different than the Bronco.
  7. Ceramic Coating

Ceramic is more a very labor intensive cleaning/polishing process. First a thorough wash and removing all bug, tar, etc. Then clay bar. Then orbital buff/polish with high grade polisher compound. Then finish up with a super good wax and polish. I have done it before- it's a process.
  8. Need rock rail installation instructions

Ya actually, it sure is. I got my Ford performance rear diff cover free for points, that added to the great feeling too!
  9. Need rock rail installation instructions

I used a Sawzall to cut mine down. I measured once, twice and three times the length I needed for the 2 door before I cut. It was a compound angle cut- so a little tricky. Then filed the ends to remove the burrs, painted the ends black to match and remounted the end caps. I had to drill new...
  10. Need rock rail installation instructions

I added the Rock Rails to my 2 door. I bought 4 door rails off someone real cheap and cut them down (There is good post somewhere that shows how to cut them down). Worked so great and they were so super easy to install. I love them and they offer great protection. I have not had a nick in my...
  11. POLL: What 2.7L Cat Back Exhaust is the Best Choice, without drone or making it unbearable in cabin with or without doors?

I went with MBRB dual CAT back aluminized. I t was a super great price at the time. I know it's aluminized and don't know how long it will last but I live in FL- no road salt. I kept the original one. I was very hoping for improved MPG but in long term my average went up only .1 MPG. It...
  12. 5 tire rotation refusal at dealer

Why do some places make something so easy so difficult. And there is always the risk of them doing something wrong- losing lug nuts, over tightening. I do my own 5 tire rotations at home. I use hand tools and take my time so I don't scratch the wheels. I also clean the inside of the wheels-...
  13. Higher octane, better gas mileage......

I don't think it's worth the extra cost to run premium in the Bronco, it burns so much gas as it is. It's just not aerodynamic at all. I love mine but it sits a lot. I even put on a MBRB dual CAT back exhaust- it sounds great but only yielded a .1 MPG improvement long term overall. I have...
  14. Auto start/stop not working

My start/stop stopped working just before the 3 year mark and I brought it into the dealer- hoping for a new battery. Nope. It's related to charging and the state of the battery. They tested my battery and yes it was low on charge but not low enough to not start and power it. If you don't...
  15. Cowl Grill - Ticking Timebomb?

My 2022 I have had for 3 years now sits in the FL hot sun on occasion and I have not had this issue. And FL sun is scorching hot. I do worry about the hot sun on plastics- deformation and fading.
  16. Interesting MPG comparison before/after mods

I have a 2022 Base 2 door Sasquatch with 2.7 and love it. I have had it 3 years now- ordered at the reveal. I typically change vehicles in about 1.5 years so 3 years is long time for me. I have had no real issues with it and it is super fun to drive. It is mostly stock except for I...
  17. Bronco tailgate width and parking in garage

Good idea to check. The tail gate should swing open no problem. It may butt against the side wall of your garage- mine does but it leaves enough room for the tail gate glass to swing up. When my glass swings up it does contact the reinforcement bars of my garage door when the door is open. I...
  18. Tune for towing a camper trailer

Agree you most likely don't need a tune. The Bronco especially with 2.7 has plenty of power. The issue is going to be wind drag more than weight on the interstate. There is nothing you can do about wind drag. I wanted to tow a small camper with my Bronco but more worried about wind drag and...
  19. Tariffs coming to a Ford dealer lot near you [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

I almost ended being one of the "panic" buyers due to the tariffs. I sought to trade in my 2023 Colorado with the weak 2.7L non turbo max engine for a new XL Ranger. So many people were looking and buying and everything was being sold so fast- and employee pricing was only 2K off the sticker...
  20. 300k Ford Points due to expire

Wow that's a lot of points! They do need to be used up or they will expire. I got a notice from Ford that mine had an expiration date. There was nothing I really wanted either at the time. After looking at so many things, I settled on the Ford Performance rear differential cover. I really...
