  1. Best aftermarket soft top?

Not sure if this is useful info, but I have a Bestop Trektop on my Jeep and it's fantastic. It's about 10 years old and still looks brand new. I just keep it clean and spray it down with 303 every few months. If I were to stick with a 2-door, my plan was to immediately replace the hard top...
  2. Bronco Team 2 door.

I know there have been dozens of threads and posts on this subject - but for you all two door peeps who have had your Broncos for a while now, what are your thoughts, realistically, on the practicality/cargo space? I have a two door Badlands on order. My wife and I have no kids, but we do have...
  3. What is it with so many B6G members…

For what it's worth, this isn't a Bronco6g thing... or a Bronco thing... or a forum thing... it's just a "people" thing. In every car scene I've been a part of for the last 30 years, there's about 10% of the community that's positive and enthusiastic, and then the other 90% is just there to...
  4. HOW COULD IT BE POSSIBLE?!?!

I know it's a whole different animal... but I preordered/reserved the new Acura Integra. I was a "day one" res holder for that. I kind of "learned my lesson" with the Bronco and tried to anticipate issues with the Integra. So far, from what I've seen online, Acura is just building them...
  5. HOW COULD IT BE POSSIBLE?!?!

This thread is weird. I could understand early res holders who don't yet have their Bronco being salty with the guys who ordered later and already got one... but why are the guys who ordered late, and already have a Bronco, salty with the day-one guys who don't yet have a Bronco?! Sure, Ford's...
  6. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

Thanks to all this scheduling, I've moved up to #98 on the sheet. It's exciting to crack the top 100!
  7. 2-door is huge constraint

I'm definitely 'Team Two Door", but I honestly didn't realize there was so much "heat" in the two vs four door debate. I think for pure off-roading, two doors are better. For any/all other practicality... four doors are better. We have a four door JKU and a two door TJ unlimited/LJ. We drive...
  8. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

Good grief. I came here for a Bronco update... but I'm leaving wanting to plan a trip to the beach. That crab pretzel put me over the edge...
  9. I feel bad I priced a JEEP

I currently have two Wranglers ('05 LJ and '16 JKU Willys). I don't really think of the Bronco as a "competitor" to them. I know it is, technically, as far as the auto industry goes. But it isn't in my life/household. It's just another fun vehicle I want to have. The hard part is figuring out...
  10. Ford delaying 2 door models as per Dealer

I don't know if that was a typo or a joke, but either way it's pretty funny. Imagine if Ford just went ahead and scheduled ALL existing orders with just absurd build dates. "Congrats! Your Bronco is scheduled to be built on 7/23/2027!"
  11. How many long haulers are left ? unscheduled July '20 reservation holders?

I have a 7/23/20 reservation date. I'm kinda surprised so many of you guys in this thread have earlier dates than me. Not that it makes any difference, but it'd be pretty frustrating to have a "day one" res and still be in the holding pattern. Based on my "number in line" at SAC, I'm guessing...
  12. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

I know we're all in different situations with our want/need levels for a Bronco, but I'm starting to see this interminable reservation hell as something of a blessing in disguise. I don't want a dirt mountain Bronco or a Bronco that's shipped without microchips that the dealer is supposed to...
  13. Garage Tools

I have a garage full of all the standard stuff. But I find the one particular tool I use more than anything... is a pair of angled needle nose pliers...
  14. Who else is losing hope?

I haven't formally "given up", but I think at this point the choice has been made for me. I'm a 7/23/20 res holder who is deep down the line at Stephens. With the recent allocation numbers (6 total for Feb and Mar...), I may not even make the cut for a '23 model. My wife and I picked up a 2016...
  15. Estimated Build Date Graph

Fun chart. Meaningless, unfortunately, to those of us at dealers with high-reservations-low-allocations. I reserved July 23, 2020. I think my honest most likely timeframe for actually getting built is probably going be some time around July 2023, which would be oddly fitting.
  16. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

Yep, many thanks to John as always. I post half-sarcastic comments in this thread on occasion, but I want to reiterate that John and SAC are awesome. I'm hanging in there with them regardless of how long it takes. Any of my snark is just directed toward "the situation" and/or Ford proper...
  17. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

Hmmm. I initially reserved a 2dr Badlands, then deferred to '22, then ordered a 4dr Black Diamond when '22 banks opened up, then changed my order to a 2dr Badlands like I originally reserved. Can't wait to find out what my "price protection" will be when I finally get my '24 model in a few years!
  18. ***(RESOLUTION)*** If anyone can help me ....please reach out.

Sadly, this is the behavior I expect from dealerships... being treated honestly/fairly is the exception, not the norm. Dealerships will screw you over any way they can. (And that's not just a Ford thing - I've had miserable dealership experiences at Toyota, Honda and Jeep as well...) I...
  19. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

I hate to ask a stupid question that's probably been answered a zillion times elsewhere, but does this mean only 6 were scheduled/allotted to SAC for the entire month of March? If we're down to 6 per month instead of 17, then I don't need to be stressin' about anything until well into '23. lol.
  20. Big Bend beats Black Diamond!

All these latest comments are just making me even more second-guessy... Ha. The notion of "will I off-road it hard" is kind of a tough one. My primary reason for getting a Bronco is to have a comfortable camping-trip-off-roader. But... I have a 2005 Jeep LJ with 32s, open diffs, and a dana 30...
